Shantanu's pov
This was enough. How many times do I have to say that I don't want to marry anyone else. Isha is the love of my life. Everytime they were trying to pressurize me for a second marriage. It was enough for me this time. That's why I didn't stay quiet this time.

"Dada, Vahini, sunn lijiye aap dono, main kisi se bhi doobara shaadi nahi karunga..aur aap log toh bologe hi, Isha se nafrat joh Karte ho.. especially aap Raosaheb, main kabhi nahi bhooloonga ke aapne Isha ke saath kya karne ke koshish ki thi..I am just saying, leave me, itna concerned hone ke zaroorat nahi hai, mere khayal rakhne ke liye mera beta hai." I deliberately said it to Raosaheb.

The fear was clearly visible on his eyes, which after some moments he tried to cover with anger. "Uss Isha ne ek toh tumhe akele chod diya aur ab tum yaha mere saamne uski taraf daari kar rahe ho..." before I could say something, Raosaheb went away from the room, along with akkasaheb. (Isha left you alone and you are taking her side!!). Ishan came with the food and sat beside me. He let me drink the soup and then he gave me the medicine. After that he hold my hand and said: "Baba, kya hua? Matlab aisa kya kiya hai raosaheb ne, joh aap aisa bol rahe the." (Baba, what happened? I mean what did raosaheb do, that you said all that to him?). This questions brought that horrific memory back. I hated raosaheb for that one thing. After he did that my respect for him decreased...

Flashback
Isha and I were married just 10 days ago. After the marriage there were different kind of rituals. It was just doing rituals, meeting the guests and doing house chores. Isha and I both were tired and between all this we couldn't give each other time. Today I went outside to buy some stuff for college. I thought I could buy Isha a rose bouqet. Isha loves flowers. So I bought the stuff and the flowers and went to home. After coming home I directly went in our room to surprise Isha. Isha was sitting on the bed, I sat beside her and gave her the flowers. But she didn't take it. It seemed like she cried. Now that I looked good, I saw that she was shivering a little, her legs and hands were a little shaky. What had happened? The concern in my heart for my wife. I couldn't see her like this. "Isha, what happened? Tum aise kaap kyun rahe ho? Bemar ho tum?" I asked while putting my hand on her head and throat and face, to check her body temperature. (Why are you shivering, are you sick). Her body temperature was normal. She wasn't sick. She sat there, shivering and her head bowed, trying not to cry. "Isha, first of all agar tum rona chahate hai to rolo, it is okay, pati hoon main tumhara ab. Please bataw mujhe kya hua tumhe..shayad main help karpaaw. Are you missing your parents? Do you want to go there?" She said no by shaking her face a little. Still no words. ( Isha if you want to cry then cry, please tell me what happened..I am your husband now. Please tell me..maybe I can help you out). "Then what happened Isha and please don't hide your feelings in front of me...cry if you want to, I won't judge you." This was it for her. She started crying, while putting her head on my chest. I started caressing her hair. I didn't ask anything now. I just let her cry.

After a while, when she calmed down, I asked her again what happened. She then sat up straight and looked me in the eyes. She was clearly in pain. My heart ached so much, seeing her like this. "Woh mein...woh...," she brought out with much difficulty. I saw she was feeling insecure to tell me. She was doubting if she should tell me. I hold her hand and started drawing small circles on her hand with my finger and said: "Isha, whatever it is, come on tell me. I am here, nothing will happen, don't be scared, I won't judge you, you know that." A small smile appeared on her face, which pointed that she believed me, she would share it to me. Her smile dropped again as she remembered the reason of this behaviour of her. "Woh...aaj actually main free thi, kuch karna nahi tha aur tum bhi ghar pe nahi the. So I thought mein gharwalo ke saath thoda bonding bana loon, kyuki abhi tak aisa kuch karne ka time hi nahi mila. I first went to akkasaheb and raosaheb room. Jab maine unke room mein enter kiya, sirf raosaheb hi tha, kuch college ke files main lage the...Maine raosaheb ko pucha ki akkasaheb kaha hai toh usne bataya ki akkasaheb ghar pe nahi hai. Yeh jaankar main bahar hi jaane wali thi, lekin raosaheb ne mujhe bulaya aur apne paas baithaya. Main confused thi ki kyun, leking phir bhi main gayi aur uske baaju mein joh chair that uspe main baith gayi." She said while sobbing a little. Her tears weren't stopping. I didn't understand anything. But there was more to come. (In short Isha said that because she had nothing to do that specific day, she wanted to get to know Shantanu's family, to make a bond with them. So she first went into the room of akkasaheb and raosaheb. She saw only raosaheb in the room. Upon asking he answered that akkasaheb was not at home. Isha was about to leave, when raosaheb said to come and sit beside him. Even though she was confused, she sat on the chair beside him). "Jab main waha baithi toh raosaheb mere taraf ghuma aur kaha ki: Isha I must say mere bhai ka choice toh bohot hi accha hai..woh kya hai nah mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai..mujhe bohot ajeeb lagraha tha, Matlab raosaheb kyun aise bol rahe the..maine keh diya ke thik hai boliye....woh apne chair ke saath mere chair ke thoda paas aaiya aur mera haath pakar liya..mujhe chodana tha, lekin bohot zor se pakda hua tha. Uske baat he said dekho Isha, tum mujhe bohot khoobsurat lagti ho, main tumhare saath kuch quality time spent karna chahata hoon...samajh rahe ho nah..."
"Phir Maine kaha ki, raosaheb aap yeh kya kar rahe ho, aap ek shaadishuda insaan hai, aur main aapke chote bhai ke patni, please aap yeh kya karrahe ho mere haath chodiye....lekin usne nahi chodda...usne kaha usse yeh sab cheezon se koii farak nahi padhta hai, usse bas m..mere kareeb aa..aana tha...."
"He tried coming close to me, lekin ja..jaise hi kareeb aaiya Maine ek glass paani uthaya joh t..table pe rakhi th..thi aur uske upar phek diya..as a reflex usne mera haath choddiya aur main bhaaggayi waha se...uske baat woh nahi pohounch paye muj tak...kyuki darwaza ban kar diya tha Maine. Lekin bahar khade hokar usne kaha ki agar maine yeh sab kisi ko bhi bataiya to nateeja accha nahi hoga. Usne kaha ke mujpar koii bhi bharosa nahi karega.kyuki main abhi aayi hoon iss ghar main aur woh, woh toh iss pure ghar ka owner hai.." she brought out and cried again. All this while I was shocked. I know Isha wasn't lying. She never lies. Did my own brother try to misbehave with my wife? Did he had a dirty gaze on her? I couldn't believe this. The person who had taught me to respect others, to always do right things did this. Why? My heart ached so much to see Isha crying like this, having no hope. Because she knew if she would tell anyone, nobody would believe her. And if she herself did something then it would backfire on her, because raosaheb is very loved by the whole family and he also is the owner. But no, he shouldn't think that after doing such a low act, we will do nothing. "Isha woh kya samajhta hai? Woh kuch bhi karega aur kuch nahi hoga uske saath, kyuki woh mera bhai hai? Nahi, bilkul bhi nahi. Isha agar tum iss baar chup rahi nah, woh tumhe kamzor samjhega, joh tum nahi ho. Aur to aur woh phirse koshish karega, kyuki uske nazron mein tum kuch nahi karoge. Isha in such situations, you need to be strong, not scared. Kyuki aise karne se nah aise logo ko aur himmat milti hai." I said hoping that I was giving her the confidence she needed in this situation. (Shantanu said that it doesn't matter if raosaheb is his brother. Isha should take a stand for herself. I saw Isha straitening her back, which meant Yess, she would take a stand. Now that's like my strong wife. She stood up and said "Shantanu, but I need your help in this. I will go inside the room, akkasaheb is still not here, you will stay outside and if you think I'll need your help, please come." I thought for a while. I never went against him. But no this had to be sorted out. I had to be on Isha's side, because she was right.

We went near the room. Isha took a few deep breaths and went into the room, while I stayed outside and listened to the conversations. "Raosaheb, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai." "Arreh Isha, tum? Mujhe pata nahi tha, tum itni jaldi apna iraada badal doge." "Maine koii iraada nahi badla raosaheb, main bas aapse yeh kehne aayi hoon..ki yeh joh aapne yeh ghatiye harkat ki nah kuch der pehle, woh agar aapne doobara karne ke koshish ki nah, toh main police complain karne se bilkul bhi nahi hickkichaungi. Isiliye aap mujhse jitna door reh sakte, please rehye" Rausaheb just lauged in a very evil manner, what sent shivers down to my spines. I couldn't imagine how Isha was feeling. "Police complain karoge tum, tumhara vishwas kaun karega Isha. Koii bhi nahi. Yaha ke saare policewale nah Yashwant Rao Bhosale ko jaante hai..Maine unhe kuch paise di aur woh wohi karenge joh main bolta hoon. Aur gharwale toh tumpe waise hi bharosa nahi karenge." I waited for Isha's reply. But she didn't say anything. This is a sign. I need to go. I took a step and now I was standing in the door opening. "Raosaheb!" I said in a little high voice. Both looked at me. The fear in Raosaheb face was clear. Isha gave me a little smile and I saw that she was getting her confidence again. I went near them. I stood now between Isha and Raosaheb, trying to protect Isha. "Aapne mere wife ke saath aise harkat karne ke baare mein socha bhi kaise. Kaise karsakte ho aap yeh? Aap mere bhai toh nahi hosakte ho. Aur agar complain ke baat karein...toh pure Pune mein koii toh police wala hoga joh corrupt nahi hoga, joh sahi ke liye ladhta hai..aur gharwale Isha par bharosa kare na kare, mujhe uspar pura bharosa hai, kyuki mujhe pata hai, my wife never lies. Doobara aise sochna bhi mat, Raosaheb." I said, holded Isha hands and took her away from there, leaving a shocked Raosaheb behind. (In short, Raosaheb was overconfident that nobody would believe Isha and no police officer would help Isha, if she complained, because he was rich, everybody knew him. If he gave the police man some money, he would do everything Raosaheb said, on which IshAntanu(Isha and Shantanu) made him quiet and told him that no matter what it was if he again tried to misbehave, they would find a police officer who was honest and Shantanu said that even if nobody believed Isha, he would believe her, because he knows that Isha never lies.)

Current time
That's the reason why raosaheb didn't want Isha in the house anymore. He feared he would get into trouble, besides that he also thinks that Isha poisoned my mind against him, which is just nonsense. Ishan saw me thinking for a long time and snapped his fingers in front of me, to bring me out of my thoughts. "I am asking you baba, what happened?" As much as I wanted to tell my son, I couldn't. I was happy that he still was concerned about his mother, but this would lead to the will of knowing all the answers to all his questions in his heart regarding his mother. And I couldn't tell him that. I had promised Isha. I said nothing in a low voice. He shook his head, clearly dissapointed that I didn't tell him and went outside the room. I know Ishan was dissapointed that I didn't tell him anything...but what could I do? Anyways now I need to check my phone. I need to talk to Isha. It's high time....

Whenever someone tries to misbehave with you, you don't stay quiet. Because those people will take advantage of your silence. Take a stand for yourself, even if it is a family member or a very powerful person. Also it is necessary to do a police complain❤️
