Next morning
Ishanu home
The mirror reflected a woman. A woman who smiled truly, who was really happy. Her eyes shone with satisfaction and happiness. Her hands laid on the little table, inside the lavish bathroom. She twiddled with her fingers as she looked as her half naked self. The emotions she felt were indescribable.

It was as if she felt complete after decades. As if the wounds she had buried deep inside her, were healed and if not time would, because now she had her medicine with her. A new sense of believe and hope lingered inside her. A hope of starting everything again with positivity. A hope of having the life she dreamed about in her lonely days.

She giggled as she thought about it, but then her smile faded as looked at her shoulder through the mirror. Her fingers glided on her bare arms towards her shoulder. The scar mark that once would haunt her, that once would question herself, that once would scare her, now turned into one that made her smile, one that made her remind of the beautiful memories she made the last night.

Flashback
Isha's pov.

He thrusted passionately, slowly into me, making me feel every bit of his love. I couldn't hold back the moans escaping my mouth. My hands roamed around his chest. His eyes never left mine. It looked like he captured every expression, every single thing of my face into his eyes. I looked back at him, as he stopped, making me wait.

As he leaned forward to give me a forehead kiss, his gaze went elsewhere. I followed his gaze and my eyes got stuck on my schouder. My eyes widened as I saw him examining the scar in the dim light, with his eyes narrowed. My eyes widened. Was this scar going to be the reason, this moment would remain incomplete? She thought.

My grip on his back tightened as memories of that horrific night came into my mind. My body shook a bit as I thought about it, making Shantanu look at me. My eyes shone with tears by now. I could see him frown. His hands found my cheeks.

"Kya hua tha?" He asked in a low, but concerned tone.

I closed my eyes, making my tears flow out of the sides of my eyes. Then suddenly, as if I had found a cure to a wound that had cut me really deep, I felt his tongue on my shoulder. He sucked gently on the scar and pecked it between. I leaned my face close to his, while he sucked gently on the scar. My hands found its way to his hair, I caressed it gently.

This moment was one of soft love. One where we both knew that this needs to be done with care and softness. I found myself completely lost into this moment, innerly wishing the time to stop. To be surrounded into his safe arms. The way he gently expressed his love and care, sent waves of comfort through my body.

As he looked up, the tears still on my face, he smiled slightly. My eyes moved downwards towards his neck, while my teary eyes didn't leave his eyes for even a second. He pressed a gentle kiss on my forehead and then slowly went downwards. His lips touched my tears, slowly kissing them away. As he was done, he looked at me and whispered something that made my heart fill with even more love for him:

"These eyes don't deserve tears of fear and pain, they deserve the sparkle of love and happiness."

As her fingers gently caressed over the scar, bittersweet tears left her eyes. Now, she wouldn't remember the fact that someone misbehaved with her. This scar would remind her of last night.

A night that was very special for her. She had allowed herself to finally break the barrier, to finally open the doors of her heart again. She took in a deep breath and looked again in the mirror, before turning around and taking the light pink kurti, hanged on the clothes hanger in the bathroom.
