Isha's pov:

"Isha ma'am," I heard Savi's voice and looked at the door opening. Savi stood there smiling with teary eyes. She ran to me and hugged me. I hugged her back, feeling happy that she was here too. Now I remembered, that I missed the whole debate competition and I didn't even know if Savi was the winner or not. We pulled off the hug.

Savi looked from me to Ishan. "I'm sorry sir, mujhe pata hai ki maine kaha tha that I will be outside, jitna der tak aap log baat karenge. Lekin itna time hogaya tha, toh mujhe laga ki aana chahiye." She said to Ishan. Ishan nodded with a little smile. It seemed as if he was in deep thoughts.

Savi then told me that Ishan saved me from the three men. I realized that before getting uncousious I saw Ishan there. And it was just now when I looked carefully and saw a dark place on Ishan his left cheek.

"I..Ishu, tumhe toh mere wajhe se chot laggayi na. Ek minute mein balm lagati hoon." I said as I started searching for the first aid box. "Aai, please itna bhi kuch nahi hua, it's okay." After searching for a while, I found the first aid box and walked towards Ishan. Holding his hands, I gestured him to sit on the bed.

"Aai, maine kaha na aisa kuch bura nahi hua, it's okay, nah aai."

"Tjup karega tu, kya kuch bura nahi hua, dekho yeh dark place tumhare gaal par, balm hi toh lagaungi dard thoda kam hojayega, bada aaya. Itne saalon se toh main tere khayal nahi rakh paa rahi thi nah, ab kar paa rahi hoon, toh tu mujhe rokh raha hai." I scolded him, making him quiet.

I heard Savi giggle silently, while I started applying the balm on his injured cheek. "Oh hello, Miss Chavan, tumhe kuch zyada hi hasi nahi aa rahi hai," Ishan said annoyed. "I am sorry, sir. Woh kuch der tak aap mujhe daatte the, dekha ab ma'am ne aapko daat diya." Savi said michieviously.  I wondered what had happened between them. Why Ishan scolded Savi?

Finally being done with applying the balm I put the tube back in the first aid box. Ishan stood up from the bed and turned towards Savi. "Haa toh kya hua, tumhe pata bhi hai apne aai ki daat ke liye main kitna tarsa hoon." He said to her, his voice soft, symbolizing the pain in his words.

He turned to me. His eyes were a little gloomy. I smiled a little at him, my eyes also teary. He gave me a quick hug, holded my hands and together we walked out of the bedroom, Savi silently following us. I was confused.

Ishan brought me to the little Mandir in my house. "Aai, aaj ka yeh din bohot hi accha tha. Aaj main aapse pure 15 saal baat mila hoon, mujhe pata hai abhi bohot zyada cheezein thik hona hai hamare rishte mein. Lekin kam se kam ham aaj mile toh nah aai, yeh sab Inke wajhe se hua hai. Hamare praathna Bappa ne sunli hai aai. Main aapke saath praathna karna chahata hoon, agar aap chahti hai toh.."

I listened to my son, having a proud feeling in his heart. He knew that he should be grateful for everything he has gotten in life. He was far from me, still he had every habit herited from me. Nothing could describe what I was feeling. Praying with him was a blessing for me.

"Aur aai kyun nahi chaahengi? Bilkul karenge saath mein praathna." I cupped his face and gave him a forehead kiss. He smiled at me. We both then started praying together. Expressing our wishes and gratitude to God gave us more peaceful and happyness.

"Uhuhum, ma'am, Ishan sir, aaj aap dono ke liye bohot khaas din hai nah, maine bhi kuch tayariyan ki hai aap dono aayein mere saath." Savi said while standing at the entrance of the Mandir.

We walked towards the kitchen, following Savi. When we arrived in the kitchen, Ishan and I got surprised. On the dining table there was a little cake.

We walked towards it. On the cake stood in very beautifully decorated letters: 22 July 2023, happy mother-son reunionday. It was very beautiful. It  was a red velvet cake, with white icing on the top and the letters were written with chocolate icing.
