Hospital
Author's pov

Harinee's eyes slowly opened. Because of being unconscious for several hours, she didn't know how she was here laying in a hospital room. It took her a little time to adjust with the light in the room. She rubbed her eyes.

She felt a bandage at her forehead. On the other places where she was injured, there was a little bandaid. Harinee looked down at her little sister, who fell asleep, while holding her hand. Her head rested on her hand. With her other hand, Harinee gently stroke over Savi's hair, starling her.

Seeing her sister conscious, her face lit up. She could run through the whole hospital and scream that her sister has woken up.

"Taii, aap..?" She brought out and hugged her, while she seated on the bed. Tears came down from harinee's eyes as she stroke over her hair.

"S..Savi, m..main yaha kaise pohounchi?" She asked after they pulled off. Savi wiped her tears away and tells her everything.

Harinee, listened patiently, while her tears never stopped. How unlucky she was, she thought. From losing her parents at a young age to having a husband who never loved her. She felt used by him. She didn't want her child to suffer, because of his/her parents. Her child.

"Savi, mera baccha, woh thik hain nah? Kuch hua toh nahi hain nah, Savi tu please..."

"Tai, tai, tai, relax, aapka baccha safe hain," Savi said, calming her down. Harinee sighed in relief, crying it out. She got scared. Her child was her only one now.

"Lekin tai, agar yeh doobara hua toh? Dekho tai, yeh aapki zindagi aur apna kahaani bhi aapko khud likhni hogi, ab aapko society ke baare mein soch kar ek aisa aadmi ke saath rehna hai joh aapse pyaar toh bohot door ke baat hain, woh aapke saath rehna bhi nahi chahata hain, yah phir aap apne liye, apne bacche ke liye ek nahi shuruaat karna chaahoge, faisla toh aapke haath mein hain, yeh toh aapko pata hain nah, that I am always with you in every situation, but agar mujhse pucho toh don't live that man. Mujhe pata hain, job dhoondhna, single-handedly apne bacche ko paalna is not easy, but it's better than living with a monster," Savi explained her sister, in a low voice.

After saying that, Savi left the room. Every word said by Savi echoed through Harinee's mind. A new determination grew inside her. She putted her hand at her belly, her baby bump a little visible. She stroke on her belly.

"Aai didn't have such a good life, baccha, but I promise, I will try every possible thing to give you a good life," Harinee said, praying for better times to arrive soon in her life.

Savi threw herself on the bench, outside Harinee's room. She leaned against it, resting her head. She closed her eyes. A tired feeling took her over. With her whole heart, she hoped that her sister would take the best decision.

"Savi?" She opened her eyes, to look at her teacher. The whole night, he didn't leave her alone for even a while. She was beyond grateful for that. Ishan took a place beside her, offering her some snacks and a bottle of water. A hungry Savi ate the food in a hurry, closing her eyes at the taste of it. Ishan adored the foodie Savi. He smiled at her. After having finished the snacks, she looked at her Ishan. Realizing, she didn't even give him one piece, an embarrassing feeling arose in her.

"Sorry sir, maine toh aapko kuch diya hi nahi," she said, in an apologetic tone. Ishan nodded no.

"Sir, aapko nahi lagraha hain, aapko college jaana chahiye, I will manage," she assured him.

"Savi, I don't understand one thing, tumhare taii ne uss aadmi ko pehle kyun nahi chod diya?"

A faint smile appeared on Savi's face.
