AUTHOR'S POV;

Morning came the next day and you were woken up by the loud sounds of yelling from downstairs. You groaned, rubbing your eyes as they adjusted to the sunlight. You stretched your body before sitting up, yawning. You lazily walked downstairs, trying to find out who was yelling in the middle of the day.

"YOOOOO, LETS GOOOO." You recognized that voice, Jay. You made your way to the living room and saw Jay standing as he cheered in victory. "Who do you think you are to yell in the morning?"

Jay turned his attention to you and rolled his eyes, "First of all, it's 11 AM..... it's basically been HALF a day already, and second of all, we are just playing and we WON."

"We?" you asked in confusion. "Yeah, Heeseung's here." Just as Jay said that, you suddenly see a tall figure stand up from the couch. You and Heeseung made eye contact and you saw a smirk rise on his face.

You looked away feeling nervous. "Uh... okay... uhm... have fun, I'm gonna go brush my teeth..." Heeseung chuckled at you and turned to Jay, "Your sister is quite interesting." "Tell me about it," Jay replied.

About two hours have passed and you decided to walk downstairs to see if Heeseung has left. You didn't see Jay anywhere, but you shrugged it off. You looked around and saw no sign of Heeseung. You sigh in relief, glad to have to see him because you knew it would be awkward.

You sat yourself on the couch and turned the TV on. Suddenly you felt the couch cushion sink on your right, you turned to look and there you saw him. Heeseung. Your eyes widened in shock. "Damn it," you thought to yourself. It seems that this moment was inevitable.

"Looks like you finally left your den." You rolled your eyes at his words, "Well now I think I should head back," you joked. Heeseung chuckled at your words, leaning back on the couch. It went silent after that, only the sound of the TV could be heard in the quiet house.

"So uh...where's Jay?" you asked, breaking the silence. Heeseung turned his head to look at you, "He's stopping by the grocery store to pick up some things." You nodded your head, turning your vision back to the TV. The realization struck you. You were with Heeseung, alone.

"Uhm... I find this uh... awkward between us because of uh..." "Ah, I see," Heeseung chuckles at your words. You raised your eyebrow, "Do you not feel awkward?" Heeseung shrugged, "Putting the past aside, but it seems you haven't." Your face froze as you saw a small smirk rise on his face.

"I— No! That's only because that's the only memory I have of you and you being my brother's best friend, so that's even weirder and that makes it awkward between us because it was a one-night stand so..."

Heeseung let out a small laugh, "Well, it was unexpected, but since we are sort of talking about it, it shouldn't be that awkward between us anymore." You sat there in silence, doing nothing but looking at him.

"But... if you're still thinking about it," he continued, "Don't be shy to ask for it again."

You froze. Again. He saw your flustered face and laughed. "Just kidding, just kidding, unless..." "Y-You better be.." you yelled out of embarrassment.

"Are you sure about that?"

You turned your head, seeing his face close to yours. You felt your cheeks heat up. You wanted to break eye contact with him but for some reason, you weren't able to. So you both locked eyes for a moment in silence. You felt his finger slightly lift your chin up as he looked deeply into your eyes.

"You have pretty eyes, I wasn't able to see how pretty they were when you had them closed the night you were beneath me."

You shudder at his words, your cheeks heating up even more if that was possible.

The sound of keys was heard from the front door, signaling that Jay was home. You were finally able to break eye contact and stood up from the couch, not wanting your brother to see what was happening.

"Hey, she didn't cause any trouble did she?" You scoffed at Jay, "Puhlease. As if." Heeseung then stood up from the couch, "We were just chatting, that's all." You saw that little sly smile on his face.

"Okay... I'm gonna put the groceries away and we can resume our game." Heeseung gave Jay a thumbs-up and sat back on the couch.

You followed Jay into the kitchen, leaning against the counter. "Why'd you suddenly go out to buy groceries anyway." "My friends are coming over tonight," Jay said as he stored the groceries in the fridge. Your eyes widened,

"Does Mom and Dad know about this?! Don't tell me you're about to throw some big ass party while they're out of state?!" Jay turned his attention to you and rolled his eyes, "I'm not THAT much of a trouble-maker, I only invited five over, excluding Heeseung of course."

"You didn't answer my question," you huffed, hands on your hips. "Mom and Dad do not know, but it's literally a simple hangout with my friends, I'm not even throwing a party, we won't be drinking alcohol."

You gave it a thought and sighed. "Fine, fine, as long as you guys clean up your mess." "Who are you to tell me to decide what I want to do anyway, I'M older than YOU," Jay emphasized. "Whatever," you yawned, leaving the kitchen.

"However," You hear Jay start, making you stop in your tracks. "There IS a yearly get-together party next weekend," He continued. You turned around and raised your eyebrow, "What get-together? And who's hosting this?"

"Beomgyu, this get-together is for our university, so uh... 01s,02s,03s, and 04s." "Niki won't be going to our university until next year though, you guys are gonna leave him out?"

You met Riki in high school 4 years ago. Despite you being 2 years older, you got to befriend him since you were friends with his older sister, Konon. You knew a few of Jay's other friends, Jake and Sunghoon. They were Jay's childhood friends so you're close with them in a way. But you were also close with Sunoo since you both are in your second year of university.

"Nah, he can come with, just no alcohol for the kid," Heeseung suddenly replied. "When did he even get here," you thought to yourself. "Alcohol?!" You repeated, trying not to yell. "Mom and Dad are gonna kill you Jay–" "I won't drink that much, geez," Jay cuts you off.

"And how would I know that," you replied, crossing your arms over your chest. "Don't even suggest having me go to that party, because I will NOT," you stated before Jay or Heeseung could say anything.

"Why not come with? You can monitor Jay's drinking," Heeseung says, trying to convince you to go. "Nope, not going to happen, I will NOT babysit my OLDER brother." "Oh come on, you never go out and have some fun," Heeseung complains. "We barely met, you wouldn't know that," you shot back at him.

"I guess, I'll drink all I want then and let a BARELY 18-year-old monitor all six of us...." Jay said in a song tone. "UGH, FINE. Only because I REFUSE to let Riki watch over all six of you."

Heeseung and Jay high-fived and shot each other a big smile. You rolled your eyes, trying to resist smiling as you returned to your room.
