Y/N'S POV;

"Remember when you slipped on the wet grass and fell on your ass trying to chase me?"

I gasped and gave him a light smack on the leg. "You remember that?! Ugh, that was so embarrassing," I whined as Jake cackled. "Why? Was that embarrassing? It was hilarious, Sunghoon was laughing his ass off." "BECAUSEEEE."

Jake raised his eyebrow and turned his body towards me on the bed. "Because?" I looked at him, blinking, debating if I should answer. "Ugh! Never mind, it's embarrassing." I crossed my arms and turned my body away.

Jake snorted, "The reasoning was also embarrassing?! Come on, tell me!" I sighed and turned my body back to face him. "I had a crush on you that time," I mumbled, feeling my face turn red.

There was a moment of silence before Jake bursted out laughing. "THAT'S IT?! HAHAHA." "HEY! IT'S NOT THAT FUNNY!" "IT IS!"

The laughter died down with smiles on our faces. Jake turned his head and looked at me with a sly look. "Hey, do you remember when your ass landed on the floor because you missed the chair trying to get in your seat?"

My eyes widened. I slapped my palm over my mouth with a gasp. "THAT WAS SO EMBARRASSING! Someone pulled my seat out!" "Why? Was it embarrassing because you liked me at that time too?"

I let out a stuttered scoff. "Absolutely not! Don't get too full of yourself, Shim." Jake tilted his head. "Then?" "It was embarrassing because Sunghoon was the one who pulled my chair out," I huffed, recalling the memory.

"Let me guess, you liked him at that time?"

"M-Maybe! So what!"

Jake started laughing continuously. I knitted my eyebrows, "Hey! Stop teasing me!" "It's just funny that your crush was the one who embarrassed you and it was Hoon." I playfully rolled my eyes, "Yeah, yeah, good old times huh."

"Hmm, how about that one time," Jake says, leaning towards me. I raised my eyebrow, knowing he was plotting something. "What did you remember now, Shim."

"Mmm, when I leaned over to take something out of your hair like this," he demonstrated, taking something out of my hair. "And you were all flustered because you thought I was going to kiss you."

A teasing smirk was plastered on his lips. I felt my ears get red, recalling that horrible embarrassing moment back in middle school.

"H-HEY! I thought we were never going to talk about that again." I pushed him away, feeling embarrassed. Jake chuckled and rested his hands on his lap. "Yeah, but it's funny to think about."

We were sitting on the edge of my bed, our legs were kicking back and forth.

The sudden touch of my hair getting tucked behind my ear startled me. My face started to heat up due to our proximity.

Our eyes meet in silence. Jake parted his lips and said, "You—"

The sudden burst of my door made Jake and I jump. Jake quickly took his hand away and sat back in his previous spot. My hands naturally fell in my lap, my fingers fidgeting.

My eyes widened when they met with the pair. eyes that opened the door.

"Oh, sorry. I should've knocked," Heeseung says awkwardly, his eyes drifting away from me. He slowly backed up with his hand still on the doorknob.

I was about to say something until Jay appeared behind Heeseung. "Hey, I didn't know you guys came over. Let's go eat, mom made something." "Okay, we'll be right out," I answered and watched Jay pull Heeseung away.
