Y/N'S POV;

We all sat at the dinner table. The atmosphere was a little quiet, but it wasn't uncomfortable – to me at least. My parents' eyes looked unsettling, eyeing Heeseung and Jay.

"Thank you for the food!" I exclaimed and began eating. Everyone began eating, yet it was still quiet. Mom set her spoon down, "You guys didn't fight, did you?" "Fighting?" Dad jumped in with a raised brow.

"Nope," Jay answered, taking another bite of his food. Mom and Dad still looked uncertain and looked at Heeseung. I turned my head to look at him, smiling and gently shaking his head "No." I smiled and took a big bite of rice.

"Did you guys make up?" Dad asked with a small smile. "Yes–" "Something like that." Jay cuts Heeseung off with a mouthful of food. I snorted and grinned. "He's trying to be nonchalant."

Jay glared at me and set his spoon down. "Don't make me take back what I said," he threatened. I immediately shook my head with a small giggle. "Eat up, my king," I gave him a good piece of meat.

Jay lets out an airy chuckle. "See, that wasn't hard to accept the two– OW!" "Don't provoke him," Mom scolded Dad. "Heeseung is a good man, I approve," Dad grinned. "Treat her well, Heeseung," Mom chimes.

I glanced over to see Heeseung smiling. "Of course I will." Jay stabs his chopsticks aggressively at the plate of vegetables. "Yeah. He better."

I messed up Jay's hair, causing him to growl. "Don't you worry, big brother, I will report to you if he upsets me," I said teasingly. Jay frowns, but a small smile triumphs. Small chuckles and laughs echoed in the dining room.

"I assume the huge dispute is over," Riki brings up as he sees Jay handing Heeseung a slice of pizza. "Yeah, yeah, whatever," Jay rolls his eyes as he opens his soda can.

"Wait, you guys know everything?" I asked with furrowed brows. "Jake and Sunghoon had to fess up because we were hella confused after Jay stormed out," Jungwon clarified. "Woah, what happened?" I repeated, looking at the two boys this time.

Sunghoon pointed to Jake, "He slipped, not me." Jake's face dropped. "I've kept the secret for way too long, it was only a matter of time before I slipped– on accident, I swear!"

"So clearly a lot went down with you guys," Sunoo sighs, leaning back against the couch. I nodded with pursed lips. "And you didn't tell me! Yet you told her?!" Sunoo shrieked, pointing at Sena. Sunoo runs at me. I instinctively ran behind Heeseung and hid behind his figure.

"I couldn't risk letting Jay find out!" I defended myself. "I'm good at keeping secrets!" Sunoo argues. "Not when Jay is one of your best friends," Riki butts in.

Sunoo turns his head around aggressively. "YAH! Do you want to be next?!" Riki shrugs and playfully sticks his tongue out. "I'd like to see you try." Sunoo immediately charges at Riki and Jungwon's place is filled with screeches and screams.

"Are you really off the hook?" Jake asks Heeseung. Heeseung chuckled and glanced over at Jay – who was busy chatting with Sena. "Almost."

Jay catches Heeseung's look. "You're lucky you're my best friend or else this grudge would be held much longer," Jay points at Heeseung. Heeseung grins and pats Jay on the back. "Appreciate it, man. I really didn't have any bad intentions behind it."

Jay lowered his soda can from his lips and nodded. "Yeah, I know." Jay looks over at Sena with a small smile. "You can thank her for loosening me up."

I let out a small gasp. "I knew Jay wouldn't have done that on his own." Jay glares at me, though I ignore it and giggle with Sena. "Had to back girly up."

"Please never let me go through something like that again," Jake sighs. "And don't drag me in it." Sunghoon punches Jake on the arm.

"We won't lie to you againnn," I smiled, earning a small one back from Jay. "Fine, fine, fine, I'll quit being salty."

And so, everything was resolved. Of course, Heeseung had to build Jay's trust again, but he got the advantage of being his best friend so reaching that goal won't be so hard.

I called Jina right after dinner the night Jay supposedly approved of my relationship and we did not stop chatting that night. She was insanely thrilled and was already planning double dates.

Summer went by like a flash and university life started again. School was exhausting but at the end of the day, I was glad to have supportive family, friends, and boyfriend.

Thank goodness I didn't have to hide my relationship with Heeseung anymore because I don't think I would be able to stand it through university too.

There were often whispers and things said about Heeseung's past relationship and current one, but we chose to ignore that.

Iseul's attempt at "Mission: Reclaim Heeseung" was a fail — again.

Yewon from summer gave up a long time ago, but I would steal some of her glances in the hallways.

Riki was attending university with all of us now. After everything that has happened, life seemed to be a bit more fun.

Late-night studies with the group made studying less boring. Sleepovers with Heeseung at the end of the week were like a reward.

Mom and Dad would invite him and Sena over for lunch and dinner almost everyday, it was like they lived with us now almost.

Which brings me to cuddling in bed with Heeseung on a Friday night. The television screen was the only source of light in my room. We were both snuggled under the blankets in each other's arms.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him. Heeseung smiles and moves a piece of hair out of my face. "Nothing much."

I squeeze around his waist, "Spill itttt." Heeseung chuckled, "Just thankful for you." I looked up at him to meet his eyes. "Hm? For what?"

"For trusting me to take care of you and your heart regardless of my past reputation."

I couldn't help but smile widely at his pure words. I shook my head softly and poked at his chest. "Thank you for opening your heart to me and allowing me to love you."

Heeseung lets out an airy chuckle and pecks me on the cheek. "Of course. I trust you with everything I've got."

I gently poked at his nipples, making him shriek. He defensively covered his chest with a sour face. "Heyyy, what was that forrr," he whined.

"You were a little too romantic, I couldn't help it." Heeseung playfully scoffs at my words and tackles me. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the tickle but it never came.

Only a soft chaste kiss was pressed on my lips. My eyes blinked and opened softly. "I love you, Park Y/n." A warm smile came across my face. "I love you too, Lee Heeseung."
