51- Too Good to Be True

Y/N'S POV;

I stood next to Jay in front of Sena's house. Today was her birthday and she was throwing a party. He held a gift bag in his hand, tapping his finger against the bag.

"Don't tell me you're nervous," I tell my brother as I analyze his body behavior. "Huh? I'm not," he answers, biting his lip right after. "No way... Why are you nervous??" Jay simply shrugs.

"Oh come on, what did you buy her?" I asked, trying to take a peek at the bag. Jay held the bag tighter, not allowing me to see. A slight pout formed on my lips. "Fine by me, I'm going to find out later anyway."

Jay rolled his eyes and then took in a deep breath. "Knock already! You'll be fine," I encouraged him – or well, tried to.

Jay knocked on the door and not even a few seconds later, the door opened.

"Oh my gosh, hi guys!" Sena pulls Jay and I into a hug. "Come in! You guys are a little early."

"Who else is coming?" I asked her as Jay and I set our gifts for her on a table. "I invited Jay's friends and mine over, not too many people," she tells me.

Sena stays with me while Jay is talking to Sena's parents over in the kitchen. "So... how are you two?" She suddenly asks me. "Hm?" "You know... you and you know who," she says, implying to Heeseung and me.

"Oh, we're fine, still running away from everyone," I chuckle lightly. Sena frowns a bit, "I really hope you two won't have to keep doing that." I nodded, but I could only hope.

"Enough about me, it's about you today. How are things with Jay? He isn't being a douche is he?" Sena giggles and then shakes her head. "He's treating me just right."

"Wait til you see what he got you." Sena raises her brow at my words. "What is it?" I shrugged, "I don't know either, but knowing Jay, he probably got you something realll good."

"You're scaring me a bit," she laughs lightly. "Don't be, you'll most likely love it," I assure her.

"But seriously, you two are fine, right? Is your brother chill now?" I asked her, recalling the chat we had back when we had a trip together. Sena nods with a smile. "He heard a few things about Jay's past reputation so you know how the rest goes."

I nodded. "I'm happy for you two." "I am too, but I want him to be happy for you and Heeseung too," Sena says, placing her hand on my shoulder.

I flash her a small smile. "We'll figure it out." "Well, if he doesn't accept it, don't forget that you have me," Sena says with a promising smile.

"SENA, GET THE DOOR!" A voice called out, most likely her older brother. "Make yourself comfortable until the boys get here," she tells me before getting to the door.

Laughter filled the living room as we all sat down to watch Sena open her gifts. She went through each gift until she got to her last. Jay's gift.

"You look nervous, chill," Jake whispers to Jay. "That's exactly what I told him," I whispered back. Jay glared at us before averting his attention back to his girlfriend.

All eyes were on Sena as she pulled out each wrapping tissue from the bag. The moment she saw what was in the bag, she let out the biggest gasp. "What did you get?" Her friends asked her.

Sena didn't reply and instead ran into Jay's arms. It caught him off guard and he seemed frozen for a moment before returning her hug.

Sena lifted her head off Jay's chest with a small pout. "Jay... you didn't have to..."

"Just what did he get her?" Sena's friend asked before pulling the items out of the bag. "Dior perfume?! AND bracelet?!" Her friend exclaimed with a dropped jaw.
