33- Hit Restart

AUTHOR'S POV;

"Hey, do you know when Heeseung is coming?" Sunoo asked as he sat down on the couch. "He said he was tired so he's not coming," Jay answered and set some soda cans down on the coffee table. Sunghoon knew well why Heeseung didn't want to show up knowing what he did to you.

"So uh, about the girl..." Jay starts and Sunoo's eyes light up. "KIM SENA?" Jake says with food stuffed in his mouth. "Oh yeah! Kim Sena," Jungwon claps his hands, recalling her name. "What about her?" Riki asked.

"So I asked her to meet up with me later today to clear things up..." Jay says, getting the boys anticipated. Sunoo gasped, hand covering his mouth. "Oh my." "Ou hoo, Park Jongseong is getting serious? For real?" Jake teases him. Jay laughs shyly and rubs the nape of his neck.

"Good luck, Jay... you're gonna need it," Riki says and pats Jay's back. Jay shoots Riki a glare. "What's that supposed to mean?!" "Hey, you told us she said you two couldn't be together and she left on your date," Riki reminds Jay, causing him to groan in frustration. "That's why I'm going to ask her today."

"Sunghoon, you've been quiet, you good bro?" Jungwon points out. Everyone's heads turned to Sunghoon. "Aha, I'm good, I'm good," Sunghoon waves off, trying to convince the boys. In reality, Sunghoon was still bothered by the fact that Heeseung did such a thing to you.

You walked downstairs, eyes glued onto the loud sound coming from 6 boys downstairs. You were relieved to not see Heeseung. "Oh hey, Y/n!" Jake greets you. You wave to him and smile softly, but not enough energy to seem genuine. The moment Jay and Sunghoon heard your name get called, they turned their heads around.

"There you are, you've been in your room all week," Jay says, glad that you're out of your room. Sunghoon was relieved too, he was quite worried. You didn't utter a word and walked downstairs, dressed in an oversized jacket and shorts. You kept your head low, not wanting the boys to see your puffy eyes.

"I'm gonna head over to Jina's." Jay nods, "Okay, have fun and be safe." You hummed and turned back for a split moment. You locked eyes with Sunghoon and he gave you a warm smile. You softly smiled back and left.

Y/N'S POV;

"Oh my gosh, you look–" "Horrible? I know," I cut Jina off and walked inside her apartment. "What happened?!" Jina asked me anxiously, following behind me as I walked into her room.

I simply sighed and sat on her bed. "Y/n? Are you okay, babe? You haven't been replying to my messages either," Jina asks me with worry, sitting beside me.

"At the party last week," I began with a shaky breath, earning Jina's full attention. "A-At the party," I start again, feeling a lump form in my throat. "It's okay, take it slow," Jina says softly, rubbing my back. "I wanted to find H-Heeseung, and I saw him, I saw him, b-but..." My eyes started to well up with tears. I bit my bottom lip to suppress my sob.

I took in a deep breath and exhaled before continuing. "I saw him with some girl on his lap and it sure damn looked like he enjoyed that shit," I chuckled through my sobs. Jina's hand never stopped rubbing my back. "Turns out that girl was his fucking ex from 3 years ago," I explain, wiping my tears away messily.

Jina gasped and scoffed. "That son of a bitch. Wait... if it's his ex from 3 years ago... and he hasn't dated since..." Jina's eyes locked with mine and I nodded. "Was she the reason he started being a fucking jerk?! And still is one?!" she realizes.

"Whatever the reason is, it's not an excuse," I scoffed, aggressively wiping my tears as I recalled the scene. Jina quickly agrees. "So did you break up with that mother fucker?!" My head drops down and my vision focuses back on my fingers in my lap. I nodded, followed by a sniffle.
