Y/N'S POV;

"Heeseung, what are you doing here?!"

"I just wanted to check up on you—" "I said I was fine, Heeseung. You didn't need to come," I say firmly. Heeseung sighs and invites himself inside. I furrowed my eyebrows and watched him with irritation.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, folding my arms over my chest. "I'm getting water as you can see, I'm thirsty." I scoffed at his words. "You can't just invite yourself to my house."

Heeseung puts the glass down and looks at me. "Jay is fine with it though." "Who cares what he thinks," I snapped at him. "Y/n, I know you're mad at me, but I don't know why. Can you just tell me instead of acting like this?"

And there he goes bringing it up. I don't want to tell him the truth because it'll make me look like a fool. "I'm not mad at you, I'm just— just, having a bad day." "When will you stop lying to me and ignoring me, Y/n? Just tell me," he insists, making me more upset than I already was.

"Me ignoring you? What about YOU ignoring ME?! You didn't text me at all the last few days!" "Do I have to text you everyday? You aren't my girlfriend," he fired back at me, clearly pissed.

"Yeah, because Yewon is your girlfriend right?" I blurted out and god I wished I hadn't. He looked at me dead in the eye. "What?"

"Why were you screwing around with me when you already had Yewon?" I finally asked him with no hesitation. "We weren't even dating, Y/n," he bluntly defends himself. "Okay, but can't you see it's messed up that you've been screwing around with me and I walked into you and Yewon making out?!" I confessed with a shaky breath.

"You what? When?" He asked me, looking at me as if I was out of my mind. I took a deep breath before replying. "I was going to give you food to thank you for carrying me home the other day but clearly you were busy." "Why do you care if I'm kissing other girls? Aren't we friends with benefits or some shit?" He countered back and his voice was gradually increasing.

"Don't you understand that It's messed up?! Why didn't you just screw around with Yewon in the first place instead of me?!" I bursted out. Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes and my vision was getting blurry. I saw him running his hand through his hair with frustration. His jaw was clenched, trying to hold back it seems.

"You were the one who brought up about us being friends with benefits, Y/n. I can do whatever I want, we aren't a thing. No strings attached, remember?" I bit my quivering lips, trying to hold back. "Well fuck that, because I thought we had something, Lee Heeseung."

I saw his face go pale. His face tightened and his fists were clenched. "You shouldn't have. I only thought of you as someone who wanted to fuck around with me and fulfill our needs," he spat out coldly.

I let out a disappointed scoff and wiped the tears that rolled down my face aggressively. "Ah, so I was just someone who can conveniently meet up with you and fuck?" He took a moment to answer. His muscles seemed to be tense and his veins were prominent.

"Yeah. You just so happened to be available for me to fuck."

I couldn't hold back anymore. I let out a sob and another followed. My eyes were glued to the floor. I watched my tear drops fall one by one on the floor.I felt stupid.

"What the fuck?!"

My head snapped back when I heard a familiar voice. "Jay?" I called out, barely a whisper. His jaw was clenched but his eyes softened a bit when worry when he saw me. I let out a shaky breath when I saw Sunghoon and Jake behind Jay.

Their reaction seemed priceless. I began to tear up even more when I saw them look at me with such worry. I ran into their arms and let my emotions out.

"Did you fuck my sister?!" Jay asked furiously. Heeseung couldn't reply. "Lee Heeseung, did you fuck my sister?" Jay raised his voice, fuming with anger. Heeseung was only able to give him silence in response.

That's when Jay couldn't hold back anymore. His clenched fists were no longer able to restrain themselves. Before I could even process what Jay was about to do, he punched Heeseung at the jaw. Heeseung stumbled back at the impact, but didn't return a hit on Jay.

My eyes widened the moment I saw Jay grab Heeseung by the collar and throw more punches at his best friend. I ran out of Jake and Sunghoon's arms and went between Heeseung and Jay to stop the violence. "Jay, that's enough."

Sunghoon was holding Jay back from punching Heeseung any further. Heeseung wiped some blood off of his lip from Jay's harsh jab. He then gave me one last look before leaving without saying a word.

Seeing how Jay didn't approach me after made it clear that he was upset. "Jay," I called out and held onto his sleeve to stop him from leaving. He turned his head and his cold eyes.

"You," he pointed at me. "You were screwing around with my best friend? Out of all people? Heeseung? Really?" My lips parted to say something but I didn't know what to say because what he said was true. "I'm sorry." That was all I could say.

"For how long," he asked me as he kept his intense eye contact on me. "Like a m-month—" "A whole month behind my back? Really, Y/n?" Continuous tears streamed down my face. I tried to suppress my sobs. "I'm sorry, Jay," I whispered, gripping the hem of my shirt. My shoulders were shaking uncontrollably as I tried to hold my sobs in.

"I'm disappointed in you, Y/n." He left the house without looking back and slammed the door. Jake gave me this look I couldn't read, but I was able to see that he was worried. He ran after Jay, leaving me alone with Sunghoon.

I broke down after that. Tears flowed down my cheeks so easily. My knees felt weak. I wanted to drop down and cry it all out. I looked up at Sunghoon, wondering if he was disappointed in me too. "S-Sunghoon."

He gave me a sympathetic look and pulled me into his arms. The moment my face hit his chest, I sobbed and sobbed. I gripped onto his shirt, trying to suppress my gasps and cries in his chest.

"I'm s-sorry," I hiccuped, choking on my sobs. Sunghoon stroked my head to try to comfort me. "It's going to be okay," he whispers as he pats my back. I close my eyes, letting the rest of the tears fall.

"Do you want to tell me about it?" Sunghoon asks me, sitting beside me on my bed. I didn't want to tell anyone necessarily, but I didn't want to bottle up my feelings any longer. I fidgeted my fingers in my lap, but eventually nodded.

I told him everything from the start to the finish. Sunghoon would nod and listen to me carefully and I really appreciated that.

"He pulled a jerk move." "Pft, he IS the jerk," I snorted. Sunghoon laughed at my comment, trying to lift up the mood.

A knock on my door made our heads turn. "Come in." Jake greeted us with a soft smile.

I stood up almost immediately and ran to him. "How's Jay? Is he still upset? Where is he?" "He's still upset... he's getting some air right now." My shoulders dropped as I sigh. "Hey, it'll be okay. Just let him cool down, okay?" I nodded and sat back down on my bed.

"Can you guys stay for dinner?" I pleaded. "You don't want to talk to Jay alone?" I shook my head at Jake's question. "I do... just stay with me for a bit. I'm scared." Sunghoon let out a smaller giggle. I scowled at him, making him seal his lips.

Even after letting everything off my chest, I still felt frustrated and upset. I lost count of how many times I have sighed today.

"Y/n, I think you need something," Sunghoon says with his lips curled up. I looked at him puzzled. Sunghoon gave Jake a look before the two pulled me into a group hug.

The two didn't say a word and just held me in their arms. This felt nice. It was warm. Their embrace gave me comfort. This was exactly what I needed, a hug.

"Thank you, you two," I sniffle. My voice was muffled due to my face being squished against their chest. I got out of their arms and smiled at them despite looking like a mess with tears running down my face.

I'm grateful for Jake and Sunghoon.
