Y/N'S POV;
Has it been 10 minutes? 20? Ever since last night, I locked myself in my room. So many thoughts ran through my mind on what I should do or could have done. I couldn't even bring myself to tell Jina yet.
I wanted to vent to someone and express how I've been feeling but saying how you truly feel is easier said than done.
My stomach grumbled for the fourth, fifth time today? I lost count. It was already 2 PM and I've been awake for two whole hours already. My body was too tired and so was my mind.
My phone buzzed a couple of times. Messages from my friends that I haven't given myself to respond to.
The vibration from my phone started to annoy me. Groaning, I reached out for my phone, about to mute it when I saw multiple messages from Jina.
"LOOK WHAT SEJIN GOT ME"
"Girl it's been like two days wya"
"Y/n????"
"R u okay?!"
"I'm gonna call u and if u don't pick up, i'm gonna pull up"
I sighed, dropping my phone back on the bed. Just as I was about to mute my phone, Jina's contact photo popped up.
I gave myself a few seconds before bringing the phone close to my ear. "Hello?" "Oh my gosh. Y/n, hi. Where have you been??" Jina answers with worry. "I've been home," I mumbled.
"Did you just wake up? You sound tired?" I hummed at her words. The call was silent for a moment before Jina spoke up again. "You okay?" "Yeah," I answered, my words came out breathy.
"You know you can tell me anything," her voice was calm with assurance. I contemplated telling her. I wanted to tell her that I was fine and there was nothing to worry about, but my bottled-up emotions were on their last straw.
My lips quivered. My eyes started to water. My lips parted to call out her name. "Jina..." I called, barely a faint whisper. Short quiet sobs left my lips. "Jay found out and it's been really, really, bad."

JAKE'S POV;
I sat down comfortably on Jungwon's couch, grabbing a pillow to hug. Jungwon sat down beside me and turned on the TV.
"When's Heeseung coming?" Sunoo asked, holding a couple of bags of chips for us. "I don't know, he didn't respond in the group chat," Riki replied, snatching a bag out of Sunoo's arms.
"Any of you know what he's up to?" Sunghoon asked with a raised brow. We all shook our heads. Jay however stayed silent with a stern face as his eyes were focused on the TV.
"Jay, you good bro?" I pat his shoulder with a light chuckle. His facial muscles loosened up a bit. "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine," he replied before gluing his eyes back on the big screen.
"I thought Heeseung was going to join us this time," Jungwon said, his brows slightly furrowed with disappointment. "I'm sure he will come next time," Sunoo tells him, trying to bring some hope.
About half an hour went by and we decided to play on the switch. Everyone took turns, but only Jay decided to sit out.
"Jay, I know you're not the biggest fan of games, but you're awfully quiet," I pointed out. Jay cocks his brow, "Am I?" "Dude, you've been socially quiet the whole day, what's up?" I asked him, shifting my body towards him.
Jay grabs his soda can and shrugs after taking a sip. "It's nothing, I'm just tired." I rolled my eyes. "As if. We've known each other for over a decade. I know you, bro. Really, what's up?"
