Y/N'S POV;
"Hey, do you wanna go to the fair?"
Jina asked me that a few days ago. I wasn't in the mood to go out, I just wanted to stay locked in my room, but of course, Jina found her way to say yes.
The sun was out, the blazing hot sun making my skin burn a bit. Jina also invited Sunoo. I haven't hung out with these two alone in a while, it felt refreshing.
"Oh my god, cotton candy. Do you guys want some?" Sunoo asked with glimmering eyes. I giggled at his excitement. "Yeah, sure!" Sunoo then ran off to the cotton candy cart, smiling as if he were a child.
"What's the occasion to come out to the fair?" I asked her as we walked to a shady spot. Jina shrugged, "Our university has something to do with it."
Sunoo came back moments later and handed us each cotton candy. "I invited the boys. Apparently they didn't know about the fair."
I swear my eyes were about to pop out. I clenched my jaw, holding back so it didn't drop agape in shock.
He invited the boys?!?! Just as I thought I was going to have a refreshing summer hang out at the fair with my friends. Now I'm going to have to worry about avoiding a certain someone.
"My other friends are around somewhere, probably in line for some rides. Wanna go?" Jina asked. "Yeah, yeah, let's go," I quickly answered and dragged her hand.
"OVER HERE!" Sunoo yells, waving his hand back and forth to get the boys' attention. As I saw them approaching, I shifted my vision anywhere but their faces. I didn't want to risk making eye contact with him.
"Hey," I heard a familiar voice breathe beside me. I looked up and gave him a warm smile. "Hey, Jake." "I didn't expect to be out today," he chuckled. "Yeah, me either," I mumbled. "Hm?"
"Someone looks grumpy," Sunghoon suddenly says, walking up to Jake and I. I gave him a scowl. "Woah there, little one," Sunghoon says. "Loosen up a bit, you're making it obvious."
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Is it that obvious?" "Yeah," Sunghoon says with a small snicker. "He knows too?!" Jake asks with full confusion.
I nodded. Sunghoon looked at us confused. "What are we talking about?" "You know... her and you know who," Jake says, trying not to make it obvious. "Ah..." Sunghoon said, dragging the sound.
"Come on guys, let's have fun!" Jina yelled.
We all followed her and her group of friends to some rides. Slowly the group broke up and went different ways.
I followed the boys and they played a bunch of games for prizes since some were too scared to go on huge roller coasters. Ahem, Jake. Ahem, Sunghoon.
The boys particularly liked the basketball game. They stayed there for a while dunking hoop after hoop.
I couldn't help but feel captivated as I watched Heeseung play basketball. I remember him telling me how much he enjoyed playing basketball during his free time. It brought a small smile to my face seeing him have so much fun, especially against Riki.
Eventually, he won a prize and picked out a cute medium-sized teddy bear. We went on a couple of rides that were too extreme. That was until Riki dared some of the boys and I to go on his huge and scary roller coaster.
"You sure you wanna wait in this long ass line?" Sunghoon says crossing his arms. "Heck yeah, we are waiting. This ride is popular. If you're a pussy, just admit it," Riki says, leaving no room for Sunghoon to argue.
"My legs are tired," I complained, squatting down as we waited in line. "You wanna go on the Ferris wheel? The boys and I will wait in line," Jake suggests. I nodded and stood up. "Go as many times as you want, I'll let you know when we're near." "Thanks, Jaeyun."
