CHAPTER XI

KELSEY

"What happened to your hand? Why does it have a bandage?" Yñigo asked while we were on our way to the parking lot.

I immediately hide it and just smile at him. "It's just a minor incident in the kitchen. Nothing serious."

He stopped and looked at me very seriously. "You should take care of yourself, Kelsey."

I nodded still smiling. "Copy that master!"

"Tch! Ikaw talaga!" Natatawa niyang sambit at ginulo niya ang buhok ko.

I pouted while removing his hand on my hair. "May practice pa ako. Don't ruin my hairdo."

"I know that's why you should come with me. Stellar company, right? Pupunta rin ako doon to visit Cane. Sabay kana sakin." He said walking again.

Natanggal ang ngiti sa labi ko sa narinig. "No need. Franzel is waiting for me. We'll go together in Stellar company."

"You sure?"

I nodded while walking. "Yeah, besides baka may bibilhin ka pa for her. Baka makaabala lang ako."

"Come on! You're not an abala. Let's go. Sabay kana sakin." Pamimilit pa nito at nginitian ko lang siya ng tipid.

"No, I'm good. Besides, Franzel is here naman." I stopped the moment we reached my car. "Gotta go. Bye." I waved my hand before entering the car's front seat.

"Bye, take care." He mouthed while waving his right hand.

Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako at sinensyasan si Franzel na magmaneho na.

"Okay ka lang?" Franzel asked being concern.

"I don't know." I honestly replied.

"We can drop off the practice today. Tomorrow ka nalang sumipot." She suggested na inilingan ko.

"No, I should come. They need me there." I replied closing my eyes to calm myself.

She sighed and just fucos on driving.

"Uhm, Miss Kelsey, hanggang six po tayo ngayon." I heard my P.A informed.

"Okay." I said eyes closed. "After ng practice ko ihatid mo kaagad ako kay Ridge. I badly wanna rest and also he's waiting for me to go home." I added.

I heard Franzel chuckled before answering. "Waiting, huh? I wonder what's going on between the two of you."

Napadilat ako at masamang tumingin kay Franzel. She has this annoying smirk on her face. "Can just stop shipping me into that doctor? It's irritating."

"Okay, okay! I'll try to be blind." Natatawa nitong sagot kaya inirapan ko lang siya.

"Kaya pala may pa cutie patotie kanina." Pang-aasar na naman ni Franzel at natawa pa. Pati ang P.A ko sa likod natawa na rin. "Corny ni Doc! Buti nalang gwapo siya!" She added and laugh again.

"HAHA funny." Peke kong panggagatong.

"Uy aminin! Kinilig ka rin kanina HAHAHA!"

"Can you just shut up, Franzel?" Iritang saway ko rito dahil pati yung P.A ko nahawa na rin sa kakatawa niya.

"Rinig na rinig ko yun kanina nung sumigaw ka ng 'Pwede ba? Stop calling me cutie patotie, ang panget!'" Natatawang asar ulit nito kaya binato ko siya ng tissue. Natatawang tumigil naman siya sa pang-aasar bago tumikhim. "Kung di siguro umepal yung ex-fiancee mo eh sana tuloy-tuloy ang kilig mo kanina." Sambit pa nito ng nakanguso.

"Tatahimik ka o ipapakain ko sayo tong tissue?" Inis ko nang tanong rito at tumawa lang naman ito.

Damn it! My cheeks are burning and I'm pretty sure it's red right now. Damn you doctor! Mamaya ka sakin.
