CHAPTER XXX

KELSEY

"Franzel, is everything okay?" I asked while looking around. I'm making a call to ask Franzel if nakasunod ba siya rito. I already opened my GPS and location para hindi siya maligaw.

"Oo, dala ko na lahat." She replied plainly. "Don't worry. I'm almost near your location. Just enjoy. Ako na bahala sa lahat." She assured me before ending the call.

I sighed before keeping my phone. Alright, I'll trust Franzel in everything. Kinakabahan ako...

I jumped a little when someone hugged me from the back. "Let's eat na, love. Handa na ang mesa." Ridge said kissing my cheeks.

I smiled immediately before nodding. Pumihit ako paharap. "Okay, let's go? You're hungry na siguro 'no?"

He intertwined our hands before walking slowly. "Yes and I know you are also hungry. By the way, we were having a boodle fight today. Ayos lang ba yun sayo?"

I nodded again. "Yup! I'm excited though."

He smiled before pressing a kiss on my hand. "The people here are excited to show you their lifestyle and traditions. I'm happy that you're also happy being here, my love."

I smiled widely while looking at the people. They are already standing on a long table while waving at us. "I want to live here, Ridge."

Ridge stopped on his tracks and looked at me. "You want... to live here?"

"I would love to live here with you sooner." I replied with a smile.

His smile widened more. "If that's what my Ely wants then I would gladly do it." Naglakad siya ulit. "Hmm, I should hire an engineer and an architect for our house. Gusto mo ba ng simple house lang or malaking house just like your parents'house?"

"I want a simple house, love. A big house would definitely feel empty for us." I replied.

"You're right. How about the rooms?" He asked again swinging our holding hands.

"I want a master's bedroom and more rooms for our soon to be children." I replied seriously. Na-i-imagine ko na ang future namin.

"Doc! Kelsey! Kainan na!" Nanay Mela said when we got to the table.

Nanay Mela prayed the food before gesturing us to eat. Masaya at maingay ang pananghalian namin. Ridge gave me the big fish on his side. Halos ubusin niya na lahat ng ulam at prutas na nasa side niya kakabigay sakin.

"Ay? Wala na?" Rinig kong tanong ng katabi ni Ridge na lalaki. Ngumiti lamang si Ridge bago ako subuan.

"Just tell me if you don't like the food I'll be feeding you." Ridge said while scooping a food using his bare hand.

I just nodded knowing that whatever food he will feed me, I'll gladly accept it without hesitation. Throughout the lunch, I was happy to be fed with Ridge.

After eating, we agreed to have some fresh kalamansi juice while having a joyous conversation with the villagers. Some even brought guitar to play while the kids are kept in their own room while they are sleeping.

Hindi namin namalayan ang oras at hapon na nang ma-realize namin na kailangan pa naming pumunta sa garden na tinaniman ni Ridge ng sunflowers para sa'kin.

I nervously grabbed my phone and dialed Franzel's number. Hindi pa kasi siya nag-a-update saka kailangan ko na rin siyang sabihan na pupunta na kaming garden.

"Yes, darling?" Franzel said on the other line.

"Is everything ready? We're heading to the garden any moment from now." I asked being tensed.
