CHAPTER XIV

JARREN

"Welcome for today's Christmas Fashion Show!" I heard the host announced using his mic. "And with that, we are grateful to see a lot of people here! As we start this fashion show, may we call about the head president of this big event!"

"Miss Cane Zia Stellar!" The two host merged their voices as they call Cane in the stage.

I am just here sitting with the boys who are currently looking at the runaway.

"Naks! Ganda ng Zia natin ngayon ha!" Di mapigilang papuri ni Vanky habang nakatingin kay Cane na kasalukuyang nagbibigay ng speech.

Everyone agreed except for Zues who was currently silent. "Naman! Zia natin yan eh! Diba Jarren?" Kyo replied beside me.

I just nodded while looking in front.

"Aba't milagro at narito yan! Sa pagkakaalam ko ay ayaw niyang manood ng mga ganito since busy yan sa love of his life niya." Vanky sarcastically said pertaining to me. He is pertaining to my hospital as the love of my life.

"People changed." I replied while grinning.

"What are you up to, bud? It's not normal having you here." Andrei asked.

"Ano ba kayo! Pasalamat nalang kayo at narito yan. Teka, nabagok ka ba kaya umalis ka sa hospital mo?" Kyo asked looking at me.

"You are all so harsh on him. Malay niyo baka may inaabangan." Warren said while grinning at me.

"Bwesit kayo. Di ba pwedeng gusto ko lang manood. Ang issue niyo rin eh." I replied.

Kapwa silang may kanya-kanyang sinasabi bago bumalik sa panonood.

The fashion show begun and all of us are looking at the runaway. My heart erratically beat when I started looking at Ely who was now walking in the runaway, being the first model to ramp.

"She is so fierce today." Kyo said beside me pertaining to Kelsey.

"Ang galing niya." Sambit ni Vanky habang nakatingin kay Kelsey.

"Wala pa ring kupas. She's so good." Warren complimented.

"The clothes looked good on her even though the design seems weird but she slayed it. No wonder she was called the most famous model." Andrei spoke looking amazed on Kelsey's performance at the runaway.

A smile immediately curved into my lips. Yeah you're all right and that's my baby up there.

"Anong nginingiti-ngiti mo jan, Jarren?" Puna ni Vanky habang nakatingin sakin. I caught the boys attention.

I cleared my throat and pull myself together. "Bawal ba?" Tanong ko na pilit nagpatay malisya.

Vanky grin in a teasing way. "Don't tell me you like Kelsey?"

Ngingisi-ngising nakatingin lang ang kapatid ko sakin. Parang ine-enjoy na nasa hot seat ako. "Why? Is there a problem with that?" I asked sounding casual.

Nanlaki ang mga mata nilang nakatingin sakin habang sina Zues at Von naman ay parang normal lang sa kanila. "Adik ka ba? Nakahithit ka no? Ano ba yang pinagsasabi mo?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ni Vanky na unang naka-recover sa kanila.

I just shrugged before looking back at Kelsey while plastering a big smile. "Binibiro lang tayo niyan, Vanky." Natatawang sambit ni Andrei.

"Hayaan niyo na yang kapatid ko. Nababaliw na kasi yan." Warren talked while grinning ear to ear.

"You're right. That punk was crazy." Sang-ayon ni Vanky bago bumalik sa panonood. "Mabuti nalang at hindi umupo rito si Yñigo at baka inisip na rin niyang nababaliw na yan si Jarren." He mumbled and Andrei just laughed.
