CHAPTER XXIX

KELSEY

"I'll bring you tomorrow to the garden."

Hindi ko mapigilang ngumiti nang maalala ko na naman ang sinabi ni Ridge kahapon. He said he'll be bringing me to the garden of sunflowers he planted for me. I am beyond excited.

At dahil sa tuwa and mixed emotions na naramdaman ko kahapon ay nawala sa isip ko ang plano kong sagutin na si Ridge. I was planning on saying yes to him today. Maisisingit ko ba yun? I badly want to turn our relationship into an official.

I smiled while I was dolling myself up. I should be pretty today since today is a special day. Franzel said that even a simple surprise would make Ridge happy. I was thinking of going for dinner after making our relationship official. I also talked to Franzel to take a video so that it serves as a core memory between Ridge and I.

I giggled. I can't wait to see him. Will my simple yes enough for him to be happy? What would be his reaction? Would he cry of happiness just like the first time I said 'I love you' to him? Damn, I really can't wait to see him.

Bumaba na ako nang naka-full glam. My mom even gave me a teasing look. "You're so beautiful, sweetie! You're going to a date 'no?" She asked giving me a peck on the cheek.

I nodded in all smiles. "How do I look, mom? Do I look super pretty?" I asked while turning around.

"You are so beautiful, princess. Jarren is outside waiting for you by the way." Dad came from the door and kissed my forehead. "Take care, 'nak."

"Thank you, dad! I'll get going now! Goodbye to the two of you! Love you!" I replied before giving them a flying kiss while walking towards the main door.

I lastly gave them a glimpse and they are just smiling while looking at me as my father's arm is encircling towards my mother's waist. My smile brightened more. They are a pretty and perfect couple and a very good parent to me. I couldn't ask for more...

"Good morning, my love." Ridge immediately hug me the moment he saw me. He gently kissed my forehead and the side of my hair. "Akin 'to lahat?"

I laughed upon hearing what just he said. I nodded and pulled out from the hug before kissing him on the cheeks. "Who's this handsome man in front of me? Bakit palaboy-laboy 'to? Where is your owner, hm?"

Ridge laughed. "Aish! Buo na ang araw ko! Gwapo raw kasi ako sabi ng long time crush ko. Hmp! Kinikilig ako!"

I laughed even more when I heard him squealing quietly. Ikinulong ko ang mukha niya sa dalawa kong kamay saka iki-niss ang tungki ng ilong niya. "I love you, Ridge." I said softly while looking into his eyes.

Namula ang tenga niya Saka ang buong mukha niya. "Pakshet! Sampalin ako ngayon na..." He whispered that made me laughed again. "Nahihiya ako." He added looking at the ground.

"Aww, I'm sad. Where is my I love you too?" Tila nagtatampo kong tanong kaya tumingin agad siya sakin.

I can see on his expressive eyes how love do magic on it. Damn, is this for real? I am so beautiful in Ridge's eye reflection. "I love you, Ely. I love you very much, my love." He said lovingly before kissing me on the lips.

I gladly kissed him back while smiling. Sayang yung lip gloss ko pero bahala na, mas masarap naman 'tong pinapapak ko ngayon. Just kidding!

We finally head to the car and Ridge started to drive. He mentioned to me while we're on the way that the garden was located inside within a secluded village. "My great great great grandfather bought a 1000 hectares of land using his money and donated it to my great great great grandmother's family and relative so that they can live and build a house that they can call theirs." Ridge said while we are entering the village.
