CHAPTER XX

KELSEY

"Where do you want to eat?"

"Sinclair Fine Deluxe" I replied softly while sitting beside him in the car.

"Paborito mong resto?" He asked in curiosity.

Tumango ako. "Kaibigan ni Cane yung may-ari nun diba? Yung Andrei ba yun?"

"Exactly, pagod ka na ba? How was your feeling?" He asked being concern.

Gumuhit ang maliit na ngiti sa labi ko. "I'm good, Ridge. No need to worry." I assured him.

"You're probably tired, Ely. Do you want us to return to Grover Hotel?"

"Nah, I'm good love. Ikaw naman, masyado kang nag-aalala. Look oh I'm all good. I'm strong. Your Ely Baby was strong." I replied while flexing my biceps.

He look at me before chuckling lightly. "So adorable love. I love you."

"And I like you too." Natatawa kong tugon rito na ikinatawa niya rin.

I'm glad that he didn't take it too deep. Knowing our status right now and the measurement of his love for me, I can say that he's gladly accepting my little improvements. I'm happy, really happy on what we have right now. I'm happy having him in my life and I'm contented about the thought of it.

"I just realized that it's already December 22. Christmas is near." He spoke changing the topic.

I looked at him. "Where do you want to spend Christmas?" I asked.

"I love to spend Christmas with you love." He replied then smiled at me.

"Okay then if that's what you want. Maybe we can shop together for the foods that were planning to cook for Christmas Eve." I suggested and he nodded.

"Great idea, love."

"Thank you." I sincerely said looking intently at him.

Kita kong napatigil siya bago sumagot. "Para saan?"

"For staying with me. My Christmas would be different because of you."

"Well, you should expect changes in your life because I'm with you right now. Asahan mong palagi akong nasa tabi mo, Ely."

I felt warm in my heart. Damn Ridge, you're making my heart flutter. "Is that a promise, Ridge?" I asked hoping.

The car stopped at the parking lot. Ridge looked at me lovingly. "Not a promise but a lifetime contract my Ely." He reached for my face and gently caress it. "I love you, Ely. I really do."

I just smiled before kissing him in the lips. I did not respond on his words as I'm not really certain about what my feelings for him. But one thing is certain, I have feelings for him and it's growing bigger each day.

We stopped kissing and he gently caress my left cheek. "Mas lalo kitang minamahal sa bawat segundo na nagdaan Ely." Sambit niya habang nakatingin sakin na puno ng pagmamahal.

"Ridge...." Tanging nasambit ko.

He put his finger on my lips to hush me up. "Hush, no need to respond. I'm always willing to wait for you, even though it takes years." He kissed my forehead down to my nose and a quick kiss to my lips. "Let's go?" Pang-aaya nito na ikinangiti ko.

"Segi gutom na rin ako."

"Anong gusto mong food? I mean kind of food."

"Italian food will do."

"Okay, Italian food it is."

The whole brunch were filled with laughter and love. I can't imagine that I would experience such things like this in my whole life, like everything are surreal.
