Amidst the shadows and the secrets

Night Five

Kanato took the candy. "You can go. I'll deal with her." 

"Thank you." She looked at the dolls one last time. "It might be a bit creepy knowing these are real women, but I do like the dresses. If you want to bite me again, I like the library and garden the most." 

Kanato noticed a faint smile and waited for her to be gone before turning to the blonde. "What am I going to do with you?"

Chisana reached the hall and saw only Reiji. I have a book for the ride, my bottle, some candy, and some fruit. I'm ready to go. "Good evening, Reiji." 

Reiji liked how the girl wore her uniform without changes and seemed to be on time. "Good evening, Chisana." 

One by one, the others showed up. 

"Tonight it's my turn, Chisa-chan." Laito got close to her. "I don't know if I can wait until we're back home though." He smirked at Reiji. He tried to lure the girl with the piano but failed. Thinking of who bit her, he knew both his brothers were off the list. Together with Subaru, leaving the oldest two and himself. He heard footsteps and saw Yui. "Come on, Little Bitch. It's always the same with you to come running last. We need to go to school." 

Chisana followed Reiji inside the car, took a seat next to him, and showed him her book. Don't worry. I can be quiet. Especially because we all have to share the car to get to school. 

Subaru sat down next to her. Seeing her book, he knew she would be quiet.

Shu noticed the same thing and understood she wouldn't interrupt his music. 

Yui followed last and ended up sitting between Ayato and Laito. Eyeing the girl between the oldest and youngest, she couldn't get rid of the idea of being betrayed. 

"Kanato-kun, you had her last night. I will bite Chisa-chan tonight." Laito broke the silence. "How did she react to your dolls?" 

Kanato smiled. "A little creepy, but she likes the dresses." He remembered she had some candy, which she gave to him. 

Smiling, Chisana kept reading her book. Some must prefer silence over a conversation. I will get to know them when we're not cramped together in a car. 

Yui wanted to say something but refrained herself. She knew better to wait until they were at school, but she did promise to get back at the girl for what she did. 

"You look like you have something on your mind, Little Bitch." Laito saw the venomous look from her to Chisana. "Did something happen between you and Chisa-chan?" He tried to provoke the girl. 

I understand I have to talk to Reiji but not in the car. "Is it okay to talk during the break, Reiji?" Chisana turned her head at him. 

"Sure, I'll come to your homeroom." Nodding, Reiji had no idea what the reason could be. However, he had to wait before finding out. The girl wouldn't lie to him, and he knew it. 

"Speaking of homerooms, Laito." Chisana got his attention. "I'm in your homeroom." 

"Are you? Lovely." Laito made a disappointing sound. "And then you want to talk to Reiji during the break. How long are you going to make me wait? I want to taste your blood." 

"And you will," answered Reiji for her. "But you can wait until we're back home. Quiet."

The rest of the drive went smooth and with a quiet but friendly atmosphere. 

Chisana got out of the car and followed Laito.
