Night Forty-Two

"Go, I want to talk to Chisa-chan alone." Laito sent the men and Yui away. 

"What is it about, Laito?" 

Laito showed his phone. "I'm not risking it in case someone is listening, Chisa-chan." He typed something quick and let her read it. 

"I can bite you after class back home, after teleporting us home. It will help speed it up. If you still want to go through with it." She read and replied with a nod. "I do." 

"Alright, I just don't want any miscommunication." Laito put his phone back in his pocket and opened the door for her.

Laito peeked at the girl next to him. "Ayato-kun, can you hear me?" 

"Yeah, what do you want. We're almost done, we can talk when class is over." 

He disagreed. "No, now, Chisa-chan and I won't be going home with the car. So you can leave without us." 

"What the hell are you talking about, Laito." 

"Can you two wait? We're literally a few minutes away from being dismissed," intervened Kanato quietly. 

"No, I'll teleport back home with Chisa-chan. Just relay the message to the others." Laito continued and wrote down the homework. He was happy with normal assignments but did discover another essay and cursed in silence. 

"Why me?" 

"Because you and Kanato-kun are the closest. I'll see you back home." Laito barely spoke or the bell rang. Putting the few books in a bag, he got up. "Are you coming, Chisa-chan?" 

Nodding, Chisana packed her bag and followed him to the rooftop unseen. I wonder what it will do to me if I do survive the awakening. Will I get a few traits from my father? "Are you going to bite me here?" 

However, Laito took them both to her room. "Go get changed first and set your alarm. I will drink until you are unconscious. Don't worry, I will wait until you gained consciousness before letting you take a nap." 

Chisana grabbed something easy from her wardrobe and went to the bathroom. That does make sense. I wonder how long it will take since he drinks more and longer. Is that why it takes so long? "How long would it take before the awakening is happening?" 

"That depends on how good you take care of yourself or if you have any medical conditions. Besides a food allergy, you are quite fit and healthy, Chisa-chan." Laito eyed her long sweatskirt with a sweater. "You wear skirts now?" 

"The weather is getting better and warmer. It will not be a short skirt or shorts." Wait, you didn't know? I wear skirts for a few nights now. She knew he complimented her. 

Laito laid on her bed and patted the place next to him. "I got your juice mix and something to eat for when you wake up." He liked the sweater on her long skirt. "White suits you." Pulling her closer, he found the vein in her neck. "Last chance, Chisa-chan." 

"I want it." She tilted her head for him. 

He checked one last time, bit her neck, and enjoyed her blood. He drank long enough until she stopped moving. After healing the wounds, he covered her with a blanket and stayed next to her. From under her long skirt, he caught a glimpse of her soft and smooth skin.

Reiji got home and went straight to Chisana's room, where he found the girl in bed. Traces indicating his brother laid next to her for a while, and he heard the piano, which made him change room in a second. "What the hell is wrong with you to drink so much, and at school no less? Only the Mukami's can do that."
