Dramatizing things, Laito put his head on her shoulder and leaning on her. "I know I carried you when you twisted your ankle. Can you carry me downstairs?"

"I am not that strong to carry you, Laito." Chisana left the classroom with him.

"Chisana, a moment please?"

Why can't anyone just leave me alone? This is a school, an academy, and you should be focusing on your education. Not on me! She turned her head away from Yudai. "Leave me alone."

"Chisana." Reiji caught a few things and Yudai's name was one of them. He hummed and pushed his glasses up his nose. "Come on, I could use a cup of tea, and I know you like your coffee." Dominating the guy, he wrapped his arm around Chisana and took her away.

Leaving Laito alone, but he didn't mind. In fact, he loved the look on Yudai's face when his brother came to pick up Chisana. "You don't stand a chance, Yudai." He peeked from under his fedora and knew he was alone with the guy. "That's her boyfriend." He started laughing when he could hear the boy swallow. A quiet "damn" followed, and he got closer. "He is better in any way. Plus, he would never cheat on her unlike you."

"I didn't cheat..."

"You were with Chisana during high school, but Seiko came and stole you away from her. She said it herself that she found you two in bed when you never broke up with her first. That sounds like cheating to me." He didn't let him finish. "If it was up to me, I would never let you get close to her again."

When Chisana finished her coffee, she wanted to go to the roof when she's stopped. "Reiji?"

"Not anymore, Chisana, you can keep me company a little longer or go to your homeroom and get started on your homework. What will it be?" Reiji told Yui the same and knew that Ayato would stop her from going to the roof.

He really does want to stop the other four from biting me and Yui during the lunchbreak? She lowered herself back onto the chair. "It's hard to break a habit."

"I understand, Chisana, but no more." Reiji sipped his tea when he saw his brother coming inside and straight to them. "What now?"

Laito knew it was useless to talk to him in private since either the Mukami's would pick up on it, or Chisana could hear it. "I'm mostly here for a cup of tea. But I also warned him to keep his distance. We'll see what he will do."

He means Yudai. As if I don't have enough on my mind. Feeling like she was losing her mind, Chisana had no idea what to do. Is everyone out to get me or something? She turned her head, looking outside. My father first, he might say he want the bond back but how, if he starts acting like the head of the house? It's not his house, and I thought he came back for me. I need to talk to him. One thing at the time, I think it's better for my father to leave. He can teleport so finding a place to live and a job should be easy for him. On the weekends, he can come over for some time together. She took out a notebook and wrote it down so she couldn't forget.

"If there's anything I can do to help, Chisana, let me know." Reiji could read her handwriting upside down. "Taking notes to talk to your father?"

"Yes, he's not going to stay for long. I didn't like it how he treated you in your own home." She wrote down the last line and put it back in her bag.

Laito emptied his tea. "I like how you stood up for us against your father, Chisa-chan. Quite impressive, but you don't know your father anymore. He seems to be different for living in the demon world again."
