"Homework and essays," she answered with a sigh. "At first, I stayed inside so everyone would bite me without giving someone a second chance. I hope to enjoy the garden soon." She explained when she felt his arms around her.

He bit her, and drank until he had enough without endangering her health. "It's fine, Chisana," he mentioned, "you can play. I'm outside."

"Thank you, Subaru." She smiled, and saw him disappear. Taking place in front of the piano, she started playing. Unaware that her conversation was heard by the others because Shu teleported closer. Along with Laito and Ayato.

Reiji put his book down to listen. Permission from Laito and Subaru, he had to admit that it was no mere feat to gain such respect.

When Chisana grabbed a smal handful of candy, she spotted a few from Kanato. Right, I heard about it but it should be sorted out. She took the two jars to the table in the kitchen. Opening Kanato's candy jar, she emptied the other over the table. This way I can't miss one. Why would she do this? I haven't done anything to her. Spreading the candy over the table, she picked out Kanato's candy.

"I will always recognize that sound." Kanato appeared in the kitchen and eyed the candy on the table. "What are you doing?"

"Putting your candy back where it belongs. I grabbed a hand and saw a few of yours in between." She worked fast and closed the jar. "Unless you want a few?"

He leaned his head on top of Teddy. "I'm good, but I thought that it was sorted out."

"Apparently not, but now I know for sure that your candy isn't between it anymore. You've seen it yourself. If your candy is mixed up again it's not my fault." She put both jars back in the pantry.

Kanato hugged Teddy. "You know better than that." He followed her as she poured herself a cup of tea and sat down for breakfast. "Enjoy it." He smelled blood and knew one of his brothers bit the other one, making his throat feeling dry. "Chisana, I'm getting a little thirsty."

She looked from him to her breakfast. 'Allow me to finish breakfast first. I don't think it's wise to have someone bite me on an empty stomach."

"Fair enough." Kanato noticed Reiji coming in.

"Even if you want to bite her it's best to wait until after school." Reiji saw Chisana point at a second cup on the table and knew she poured him one too.

"I know how you drink your tea, and I knew you would come." Chisana smiled at him after her last bite.

Reiji picked up the teacup, thinking back to when she surprised him with tea and muffins. "You can wait by the front door. She'll be there shortly."

Chisana nodded. "Five minutes, give or take a minute, I always use the bathroom before we leave for school."

Kanato understood and left without reacting.

"Did you hear me talk to Kanato? Some of his candy was still mixed up with the other candy. I sorted it out." Chisana informed him when the door opened.

Reiji noticed Yui's presence before the girl came inside. "I did, and Kanato saw it. If the candy gets mixed up again, I know it's not you. However, Ayato pranks him sometimes. It happened that I had to intervene and get Kanato's bear back."

"So it is possible that Ayato might be behind it?" I need to keep that in mind. Chisana finished her tea. "I promised Kanato, so I have to go. See you at the front door."
