"Very well." Laito left and came back with Yui. "Make one wrong move, and you'll be locked up again."

That threat won't hold anymore because she's constantly locked up. She's expecting it. Chisana looked at the girl and noticed dark circles under the eyes. Has she lost weight? Despite being locked up, she does get meals so why isn't she taking care of herself. Unless she's doing it on purpose so they will bite me more often.

Yui sniffed her nose before digging into her breakfast. She knew it had to be Reiji, who refused to serve her breakfast in her bedroom.

Chisana stood up to put her tea glass and plate in the sink. After putting her juice bottle in her bag and some snacks, she stopped next to Yui. "Do you think you can live with yourself if you do take my life? That guilt won't eat you up from inside? I'd rather die because of some accident with one of them than to die by your hands."

Reiji felt his glasses slip lower and watched as the girl left the kitchen. He knew everyone listened when he told them no one could kill Chisana.

Laito smirked and held the door open for her. "Why do you stop eating? Do you want to go to school on an empty stomach?" Seeing the sweet breakfast, he knew what to do. "You really don't want to eat it? Fine by me. Kanato-kun," he called his brother, "you want some dorayaki?"

Kanato teleported inside the kitchen hearing dorayaki. "Always, why even ask?"

"This one likes to go to school on an empty stomach." Laito moved the plate to him.

"Really? It's your loss, I could eat this every afternoon." Kanato made short work of the sweet dish.

Reiji got up to clean it all. "Get to the front door. I'll be there shortly."

Chisana got through the first half of classes easy, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something would happen. What made her come to this school? She didn't know I was here. The timing is so off. The bell sounded, and she saw her fellow students pack their bag to go to the cafeteria.

Laito stood up as well. "I'm going to the roof. I need some fresh air. Staying inside for so long and with so many humans is not good for my thirst."

Chisana stopped him. "Then why didn't you bite me before we left?" She does lower her voice.

"Don't know." Laito shrugged and walked with her to the stairs but goes up instead of down. He didn't saw Seiko and cursed himself. He had to know her scent so he would recognize it.

"Boyfriend stealer."

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Chisana looked where the voice came from. "I'm not, but I would like to know who says such a thing." Is it even relevant? Probably not. Is it Yui again? This is getting old.

"You said that you didn't steal Reiji from Yui..."

"He cleared it up himself saying that he has no time to date anyone for being in his final year." Chisana grew tired for repeating herself and Reiji's words.

The girl shook her head. "That was a lie. Yui cleared it up saying it should've been a secret because no one would believe it. But you stole Reiji away from her. Now it seems you started in high school by stealing Yudai from Seiko. You are trouble wherever you go. Stay away from them."

"See, that's a little hard since I live with them." Chisana knew there had to be more about it.

A hum made everyone turn their heads to Seiko. "My mother would welcome you with open arms. You are the one who had run away." She went closer. "But you did steal Yudai away from me. I changed school because I wanted to be with him, but I found him with you instead. How did you wrap him around your finger? Is it the same technique you're applying to the Sakamaki brother's? After all, you did steal Reiji from Yui."
