"I'm in control of my thirst and not the other way around, Chisana." Intrigued by her, he wanted to find her the answers she sought. He thought about her words about testing her but dismissed it. "I will not bite you tonight. Get some rest and take your time to figure out what you want. You're not leaving this house unless it's for school."
She smiled. "Unless something happens, and I end up underground." I can't forget that they are vampires. He didn't bite me tonight but tomorrow night he could. "Thank you for your patience tonight, but I won't take any more of your time." She left his room after bowing to him. "And sleep well for later." Even with the door closed, she knew he could hear her.
He heard her voice one more time through the door and found himself smiling. He promised himself to help her find the answers and without anyone killing her.

After doing the dishes, Chisana cleaned everything. She wanted to leave the kitchen when she saw Yui. I think it's better to stay out of it. Reiji talked to her last night, and it must be about not finishing her food.
Yui noticed the girl and turned her head to avoid eye contact. She couldn't forget about the other night and how she felt ingored. All the attention went to Chisana and not her. Swearing she would get back at the girl, she figured Chisana hadn't seen the dolls. When she first saw them, she wished to get away, but Kanato didn't let her. Thinking of the man, took her back to how Chisana could make him smile. She wondered if she could make Chisana see their darker and diabolik side. With a plan, she made her breakfast. "Good afternoon."
"Good afternoon." Chisana had no idea what to do with her.
"It's not easy to adjust to a different rhythm is it?" Yui took a cranberry juice box when she noticed a different bottle and wanted to know who it belonged to. "Did you have breakfast without me?"
Chisana checked the time. Almost five-thirty, and she wants to eat now? That way, she would be late at the front door. Do we have to wait for her? "I have breakfast at five."
Yui hummed. "I get out of bed at five. You could at least wait for me."
"I got up half an hour earlier. If you insist on having breakfast with me, I suggest you get up earlier..."
"Or you wait a little longer." Yui interrupted the girl.
Chisana shook no. "I currently found my rhythm to get out of bed by four-thirty. I am not waiting for you, and I'm positive you wouldn't wait for me either." And I still have time left to make it to the front door and one last bathroom visit before going to school. Plus, I'm early enough that Laito can't surprise me. "And yes, I'm gradually adjusting."
"Fine by me," replied Yui while pouring herself a cup of tea and sat down for breakfast. "Have you seen everything from the mansion? There's another addition on the side of the house. It even has an entrance of its own."
Looking back at her, Chisana noticed something about her words. "I'm still getting familiar with the house. The mansion is big enough that it takes some time to get to know all the rooms." Is she directing me to go somewhere? Should I take it?
"I can show you. That's where Kanato keeps his doll collection." Yui sat down.
That doesn't sound genuine to me. It could be because she doesn't like me. She lives here longer with the men and then I come along. Maybe it's better to keep my guard up when she's around. She smiled. "I'm reading something, and I'd like to get back to my book."
