Reassured by her words, he smiled. "I'll try but no promises." He knew it created opportunities that he loved to explore. "Do your homework first, before returning to your book." He saw Laito teleporting into her room. "And Laito, don't make her faint."

"I have no reason to do that to her," reacted Laito while following him outside the room. "I would only do that to one girl, and Kanato dropped her off in the dungeon for punishment. He could have done that for you." He walked back to Chisana. "You promised me something, Chisa-chan."

She laughed. "I know I did. However, I have enough homework."

"Yeah, I know. I have the same amount of homework." He pulled the girl close and followed the vein in her neck with a finger. "We are in the same class, after all. Where did Subaru bite you? And Kanato-kun?"

"Subaru bit my neck and Kanato a little lower and closer to my shoulder." She answered him with a shiver going down her spine because of his cold fingers.

"Are you getting scared now?" He laughed, seeing her shiver.

"No, you have cold fingers. That's all." She mentioned. "So far I only found Kanato's dolls a little creepy," she confessed under her breath.

He held her shoulders, hoping to have something over her. "Did it give you bad dreams to see his dolls?"

"I don't think so. Then again, I never remember my dreams." Did I? She had no idea. "What are you trying to do? Will my blood be tastier if I would be scared?"

"Not always," admitted Laito while wishing he knew what would scare her. He tilted her head to the left.

He's stalling, and I have no idea why. "What is it? I thought you wanted to bite me." She shivered again because he used his nails over her skin. "Laito, if you're not going to bite me then say so. I have homework to do."

"No, that's not it. My favorite place to bite would be your thigh, but you like wearing long pants." He pouted and hung his head. The one place he loved to bite and yet out of reach.

Oh, this is ridiculous. Taking the lead, she pricked her neck. I felt that.

Laito's head shot up and saw a drop of blood slowly making its way down her neck. Tempted, he bit her neck without hesitation. Remembering the words from his brother, he stopped and licked the small wounds.

"Why do you lick it? You are not the first to do that." Being off balance, she corrected herself before she could fall over.

Cursing himself for getting carried away, Laito hopped to the kitchen and back with her cranberry and apple juice. "Here, I'm sorry. We can heal the puncture wounds by licking it. It's not wise for you to walk around with bite marks on your neck at school." He saw her being off balance and sat her on her bed. "Take it easy. If you didn't scratch your neck, I wouldn't have drank so much. Sometimes it's hard to hold back, Chisa-chan. You should be more careful when it's a full moon. Any type of blood will be tempting to us, and we'll be more thirsty than usual."

"When is it a full moon?" She asked first before sipping her juice mix.

"Tomorrow is the real full moon, but we still feel it the night before and after the full moon. Technically, we have three nights of the full moon. How well do you know Greek history? Or mythology?" He explained.

She waved her bottle in his face. "Earth to Laito, I'm a little light-headed so I'm not paying attention."

"Right, that's my fault." He frowned while laying her down in bed. "Alright, get some rest. You'll feel better after a nap." He covered her up and checked her alarm. "Don't tempt me with your blood next time."
