After my mom's memorial, we took her ashes to the beach to spread the rest of them. Then I tried my hardest to focus on school, just so I could graduate. Hiro has been beyond supportive and literally my rock through this all. Riley was right. He was a blessing in disguise. Lyra helped get me the job at the record shop, I couldn't thank her enough, as for Ayden, he was pulled from school by Richard, and he went into a military school. I felt at ease knowing that we wouldn't cross paths for a long time.

I sat behind the counter of the record shop, applying for online classes, as I said I wanted to do since graduation is tomorrow. I know it's a little late, but I'm hoping I can still do it. "It's so slow today." Lyra huffed.

"I know, but this gives me the opportunity to put this application in for online classes." I said as I focused on the application.

"We are so proud of you, Sky. After all the hell you went through and to see you still determined to do what you set out to do, it is truly amazing."

I met her bright eyes with a smile. "Thank you."

Lyra's smile beamed. "Anytime. What are you and Hiro doing tonight?"

"It's Thursday, right?" I asked.

"Yeah." She nodded.

"Dave N Busters." I stood up straight. "Done and sent."

Lyra walked over to the counter. "You two do that every Thursday, and congratulations! I hope you get in, girl. Keep me posted on that."

"You got it, and yes, we do. When I went through that whole ordeal with Brody, he suggested it, and we've been going there ever since."

Lyra giggled. "He's the best match for you."

"Riley would agree with you." I giggled. "She told me that he was a blessing in disguise."

"She was right." Lyra nodded. "Look how happy you are!" Lyra gestured to me. "You are glowing with happiness, and that's what you deserve." I smiled at her in response. "Have you two kissed yet?" Lyra leaned on the counter.

"I knew that was coming." I pointed to her. "And no, we haven't yet."

Lyra shrugged. "What are the odds of you kissing and getting laid tonight?"

"What about tonight?" Hiro asked as he walked in.

"Speak of the devil." Lyra grinned at me.

"You two were talking about me?" Hiro raised his brow.

"Girl stuff." Lyra said with a sassy snap.

Hiro raised his brow and then looked at me. "Are you ready to go?"

I giggled. "Yes." I clocked out and grabbed my bag. I followed Hiro out the door. "Oh, you brought out the bike." I smiled.

"Yeah." He smiled. "And I got you something." Hiro said with a smile.

"You got me something?" I smiled.

Hiro walked to the bike, grabbed something, and then came back. "Your own helmet." He held out a black helmet with a purple dragon on both sides.
