I looked at the phone as I felt it buzzing. "Hi, dad."

"Hey, ready to meet up?" Adam asked.

"Sure, is it ok if I bring Hiro?" I asked.

"Of course, I thought he was tagging along anyway."

"I wanted to be sure." I said softly as Ruka and Hiro stood up.

"Want to meet up at The Boathouse?"

"No... Please.. Not there.." I said softly.

"Ok, how about Shogun Steakhouse?"

"Sure, that will be good." I agreed.

"Alright." Adam said. "We'll see you when you get there. We will head that way now."

"Ok." I said, then hung up. "Hiro."

Hiro turned to look at me. "Yes?"

"Shogun Steakhouse."

"Word!" Hiro said with excitment, then darted up the stairs.

I put my phone into my pocket as Ruka sat on the couch. "You make him happy."

I looked towards Ruka. "I do?"

Ruka looked towards me. "Yeah, you make him really happy. I know he's been there for you a lot. You've actually been there a lot for him, too."

I smiled a little. "I'll continue to be there for him."

Hiro came down the stairs. "Ready to go?"

"Yes." I walked towards him.

"Bye." Ruka looked back at us.

"Later." Hiro said, and we walked out the door. We got into his car and made our way to Shogun. "You doing ok?"

I met his eyes. "As good as I can." I nodded.

"It's ok to not be ok." Hiro said softly.

I nodded. "I know."

We arrived at Shogun, and I took a deep breath as I got out of the car. We walked over to my dad, Cici and Ivory. "Hey." Adam smiled at us.

"Hi." I smiled a little.

"Hiro, this is my half-sister Ivory and her mom Cici."

"Hi." Ivory smiled.

"Hello." Cici gave a smile as well.

"Hi." Hiro gave a nod. Ivory walked up close to Hiro, causing him to look down at her. "Can I help you, shorty?"

"Don't call me shorty."

"Or what?" Hiro asked.

Ivory smiled. "I like him."

I giggled. "Of course you do."

"He's cooler than Brody." Ivory pulled her phone out and held it up towards Hiro.
