REVENGE

Chapter 9

                It was 4:30 am when Chaerin went outside her hotel. Like before, she is 30 minutes early for the time given. She was waiting for Jiyong with a cup of coffee in her hand. Jiyong knows this habit of hers, that's why he waited for her 5 minutes earlier. He saw Chaerin as she exit the hotel. Jiyong smiled, he knew for sure she'll be early. He jumped in front of Chaerin.

"Hunchae!"

"Omo!"

To much of her surprise, her eyes went plate sized which Jiyong find it really funny. 'It's hunchae.' He thought. She is wearing clothes that 'old' Chaerin would wear. An oversized dress tshirt, leggings and a cool pair of shoes. And of course her signature eyeliner.

"You're early!" Jiyong said.

"No~ you're early. I'm always 30 minutes early."

"hmmm I know you'll do that, so here I am! I bet you didn't have breakfast."

"ahh. Right. Just this coffee." She showed the cup she's holding.

"come! I know a place!"

Jiyong brought her to a chicken and pancake place. He knows Chaerin likes pancakes. While they're waiting for their orders, Jiyong just can't help it but to look at her which made her uncomfortable.

"What?" Chaerin asked.

"What 'what'?" he mocked.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Cos' I don't have anywhere to look at. Where do you want me to look then?"

"pfft. Whatever."

His smile is stretched up to his ears; he can't help but to smile with just her simple gestures. Indeed it's his Hunchae that's in front of him. 'I missed her' he thought.

"Does Seunghyun know?"

"hmm?" She shakes her head.

"Call him. He might be worried."

"He's still sleeping."

"At least leave a message."

Chaerin fidgets with her phone for a couple of minutes and as she was about to shove her phone back to her pocket, Jiyong caught it, yanked the batteries out and put it inside his pocket.

"Yah! Give that back!"

"nope. This day is for Chaerin. The happy go lucky Chaerin. Not the CEO Chaerin. You'll get this from me by the end of the day."

"hey no fair! My employees might be calling me with emergency!"

"Seunghyun can handle it. If they can't contact you they'll definitely call him after."

"Do you know what are you doing now? You're putting our company to danger."

"tssch. It's just for a day. You'll come back up for sure."

"Jiyong~"

"Nope. Oh here's our order!"

Chaerin just gave up with Jiyong's persistence. 'Well a day can't hurt' she thought. Then she digs in but Jiyong is still not touching his food and just looking at Chaerin.

"Why? Is there something wrong?"

Jiyong exchanged her chicken with his.

"You don't like breast part. You've never eaten one. Mine's the thigh part which is your favorite."
