Chapter 16

Kiko is now making her way to the meeting hall though she is now running 10 minutes late. She's supposed to discuss the process of the development of their project with Director Lee. But then a very recognizable image is waiting for her at the door of the meeting hall which leaves her shocked.

"j-Jiyong? Why are you here? And why is your hair like that?" Kiko tried to reach his hair but Jiyong dodged it.

"Miss Mizuhara, Director Lee is now waiting for you inside." Jiyong said as she led her to the inside.

With a puzzled mind, Kiko entered the meeting hall solely looking at Jiyong.

"Good afternoon Miss Mizuhara. It looks like you already met my new secretary? I believe you already knew each other." Seungri said.

"Yes. I know him very well." Kiko answered.

"But just for formality, Miss Mizuhara meet my new secretary Mr. Kwon Jiyong." Jiyong bowed at Kiko. "And Seceretary Kwon, this is Miss Kiko Mizuhara the representative of the other company. So, shall we begin the meeting?"

"I'll ask Miss Mizuhara for the copy of her slides. May I have it please?" Jiyong uttered.

"Yes. Sure."

Seungri noticed that Kiko can't focus on the meeting and always spacing out. Kiko just can't comprehend that Jiyong is here and they are now working at the same company and most of all with that hair color.

"...And ah, Miss Mizuhara can you contact the advertising team. I want to know on what strategy they're planning...Miss Mizuhara? Are you still with us?" Seungri tried to catch her attention.

"Yes! Y-yes Director Lee. I'm sorry who do you want me to contact?" Kiko said as she check the papers she's holding.

"Okay." Seungri shakes his head. "Miss Mizuhara it seems that you're not focusing on the meeting right now. Maybe we should do this on a different time?"

"No Director Lee. I am sorry. A thought just crossed my mind that's all." Kiko plead.

"Very well. Let's resume."

Meeting has ended with Kiko understanding the meeting half mindedly. They were about to exit the meeting hall until...

"Director Lee do you mind if I talk to your secretary for a couple of minutes?" Kiko asked Seungri.

"I don't mind at all. Go on. Please make sure he'll come back right after."

"Thank you Director."

Seungri has excused himself to return to his office. The other two stayed inside the meeting hall.

"Is there something you want to tell me Miss Mizuhara?"

"Jiyong what are you doing here?"

"Well as you can see I am working. Is that hard to see Miss-"

"Can you cut that out?! I am talking to you as your girlfriend not some sort of coworker or something! I told you not to ask help from Seungri! And with that kind of hair?! How many times do I have to tell you that kind of hair is not presentable?"

"This is a job requirement from Director Lee."

"That's ridiculous Jiyong! Who's in the right mind to have their employee looking like that?!"

"Then ask that to him yourself."

"Ugh! This is insane! And I why do you have to ask a favor from Seungri?! Can't you find a job yourself?"
