REVENGE

Chapter 10

                They are now standing in front of the entrance where Jiyong wants to go.

"Amusement park?"

"Yeah! I've never been here. This is one of the places I wanted to visit but never had the chance to. I heard they have awesome roller coasters here. You still like heart pounding rides don't you?"

"Oh yeah! Let's go!!!"

For the initial ride, they decided to ride the less scary rollercoaster. They left the scariest one for later. Their heart beats are gradually increasing as they rode the rollercoaster and endless scream can be heard from Chaerin. After the first ride, Chaerin's energy was depleted with all of the screaming she has done. They sat on a bench for the mean time to catch their breaths.

"wuh! That was fun! Hehe" Chaerin squeal like a kid.

"Is it? My eardrum almost burst because of your scream!"

"hehe Sorry~ oh look! Ice cream! Come get me one!"

Chaerin grabbed Jiyong's hand and drag him to an ice cream store.

"wahhh~ there's too many flavors! Gimme the strawberry one please!!"

"Aigoo such a kid!" Jiyong pinches her nose. "1 strawberry and 1 dark choco please."

"By the way Sir, we have a promo for our ice cream. For a couple like you it'll be 3 scoops in one bowl." The sales man said.

"Ahh I see."

Jiyong is considering on getting it however Chaerin immediately resond.

"But mister we're not a couple. We'll just get the normal ones. Thank you." Then she smiled at Jiyong.

They sat across each other but Jiyong is being silent. Chaerin noticed it. She knew it was about what she said at the counter.

"Are you mad?"

"hmm?"

"You are. Can you tell me why you are mad?"

He didn't know how to respond with her sudden question. He didn't even know why he reacted that way. Chaerin is basically just being honest but why does he feel so uneasy when Chaerin said that they're not a couple? He shouldn't feel that way; he shouldn't feel bad about what she said because that's the truth.

"I'm not mad. What are you talking about?"

'there he goes again.' chaerin thought. "okay if you say so."

"May I ask you some questions?"

"hmm... sure."

Even though she got the permission from her, Jiyong don't know where to start with his mind being flooded by questions.

"do you... still keep it?"

"What? Should I keep something?"

"uhmm this one"

Jiyong showed her a necklace he is wearing with their ring as its pendant. Though Chaerin is showing no emotion when she saw it, it made her heart beats faster than when they rode that rollercoaster.

"No. I got rid of it as well."

"hmm. I see."

"Do you want it back?"

"ugh. No it's yours. I gave it to you... hows... dad?"

Jiyong was talking about Chaerin's father. He knew how much Chaerin cherished his dad since she is daddy's little girl. Back then her dad was hospitalized and had a stroke. Chaerin's world almost crashed when that happened.
