I have carefully placed
In your open arms
My fragile heart
Has held so much before you
And I chose to trust
To give you a chance
To believe false promises
That you said you'd do
Only to be left with
Bits of memories that I
Hope to forget soon
Those promised flowers
That you failed to come through with
They were only lies
And I'll bet that you
Never even ordered them
But you saw me happy
To hear the one thing
That I desperately wanted
You didn't have to
Play around like that
Be there one moment only
To be gone the next
You messaged me first
You shouldn't have done that if
I was just nothing
