Forms of Love

When it comes to love
There are many forms of it
How do you show it

Well I'll give little
Trinkets and let you know what
Made me think of you

It could be simple
Like the moon and the time you
Took a pic of it

How you'd know how to
Take a better picture of
It than I could and

I remember small
Details of your interests
So I researched it

Learned the best I could
So I could make a card with
A corny pun to

Let you know that I
Listen to all your rants and
Use that knowledge to

Put a smile on
Your face further down the line
I want to learn your

Favorite foods and I
May not be a cook but I'll
Learn how to make it

Try not to be a
Hard critic I'm sensitive
But I did my best

And I'd cherish you
From your toes to your head and
What lies inside you

I don't need gifts for
You to keep me around or
Fancy dates to stay

Not to say that I
Don't appreciate them but
I value our time

We have together
May it be in a park or
Steep hiking trail

And I'll get you to
Do face masks with me and wear
Matching outfits and

Get silly couple
Bracelets and long distance apps
For when you're not here

Hope that's not too much
To ask of you but they make
Me smile feel loved

And so do flowers
Dark chocolate's and small picnics
Maybe I'll keep a

Colorful scrunchy
On the stick shift of your truck
It'll keep you safe

I'll keep a photo
Of us in my phone case so
So I won't forget you

You'll find my hair strands
In the oddest of places
You won't forget me

And I can't help it
My hair is just fine and it
Easily flies off

I hope I make you
Feel like you're flying to a
Greater purpose and

That is how I love
And the many forms that make
Me feel like I'm loved
