Finally here I
Am learning to love myself
To the best of my
Abilities in
Everything I do from how
I approach people
The way I talk when
Something gets serious or
When it is all fun
The way I laugh when
My friends and I do dumb things
Talking like goof balls
The way I smile
In situations that I
Can't help but chuckle
I am learning that
I can't control everything
To be this perfect
I have in my head
A thousand ways that people
Can build themselves up
Not to reach ideals
But feel comfortable in ones
Body to dance in
This beautiful mess
Not meant to be all good but
Not fully that bad
I feel proud about
How far I had gone to get
The courage to say
That I don't need you
And your negativity
To enter my life
