My name was once safe
Being rolled off of your tongue
Onto a platterIt was so lovely
The sound of yearning and need
I wanted to pleaseThere were days I felt
Beautiful important and
Special in your eyesBut those days are gone
And all of those moments were
Lies you made me feelAnd I was a fool
Thinking I was safe with you
That I was secureI was just a warm
Body keeping company
You were never mineI was never yours
Because your heart was else where
Stuck in your boy gamesYou enjoy power
You don't actually care
Or are respectfulNow my name is just
A word with no meaning or
Has any value
