In this crazy mess
Of confusion and despair
I'm pulled on his lapCradled with comfort
Emotions too big to hold
As I ugly sobI pour out worries
And I'm reminded I'm young
With more to learn inThis stabbing hurt called
Life that keeps pulling the rug
From out under meUnsure where to start
And scared where it'll take me
But I'm not aloneHe pecks my forehead
Giving reassurance and
With each brick thrownHe's there for guidance
And a shoulder to cry on
A safe place to fallWhen I can't be strong
And I lose my bravery
And I'm just broken
