[Yandere Meowscarada x Reader] I'll Make Them All Disappear!

26 | Meowscarada, Chaos Incarnate

Nurse Joy, alongside a number of her colleagues dispatched to the most recent medical emergency, struggles to hold the door to the patient's room shut. From the other side, there is the ravenous, piercing sound of shrieking and hissing as though the Pokémon Center were harboring a feral animal who lost all sense of composure. Influenced simply by its rampage, the Pokémon behind the door throws its body against the frame, clashing with the sealed threshold over and over until it seems the door is seconds from being torn off the hinges.

"If we stay here like this, we're gonna get hurt! That Meowscarada is unhinged!" one of the nurses shouts as she continues to assist the others in keeping the door pulled shut.

"That's just a risk we have to take!" screams another. "If she gets out, these other patients will be right in her line of fire!" She grunts as Meowscarada delivers another hard blow to the door. Not long ago, she first began pulling the door toward herself, then, coupled with the nurses' resistance and refusal to let her free, Meowscarada grew scarily impatient and began beating against the door with her whole body in an attempt to break it down.

"What happened in there?!" another nurse shouts over the deafening noise of the door being slammed into. "Why is she doing this?!"

"I don't know!" her colleague replies, barring her teeth. "She—ugh!—she woke up from the coma somehow! A-And she immediately started heading for the door! I tried to hold her back!"

A nurse takes a deep breath in between the times Meowscarada crashes into the door. Doing something so little as holding it back from collapsing is scarier than the woman would ever expect. In her time, a Pokémon has never acted this wild within the confines of a Pokémon Center. "What does she want?" she asks, winded. "Is she after someone? Does she want something from us?"

"I-I don't know," says the woman who had the first dealing with the unhinged Pokémon. "It didn't seem like she was focused on me or anyone else in her sights. She woke up and looked at the door first, that's all I know!"

Meowscarada hits the door again, this time successful in making the hinges pop. All nurses present by the room pause to listen to the subtle metal clink of screws coming loose. They scramble back against the door, holding it up with all their might now that it's begun to shred off the jamb. As they do so, Meowscarada, still hissing wildly at their sad attempts at containing her, beats the door down with even greater passion. She knows she must be free, otherwise something bad is going to happen. With everything she has — paws balled into fists, claws outstretched, shoulder squared — the Pokémon slams into the door one final time, sending it toppling over.

The nurses all scream as the door comes shooting out at them, pinning them to the ground below. They land in a pile, unable to see much from the position they've been forced into, wedged in between cold tiles and the metal surface of the door. One nurse works her muscles to try pulling the door off of them, only for Meowscarada to summon vines that entangle the pile in which each nurse has been crammed into. Trapped now beneath a door and Meowscarada's grassy binds, the nurses struggle to no avail while the Pokémon makes her great escape, running like the wind with her arms out behind her back.

One nurses defies all common decency to scream at the very top of her lungs. "Stop her! S-Security! If she leaves, someone might get hurt!"

Heeding the call, two local security officers herd around the exit, effectively blocking Meowscarada in. They both stand at attention and rife with alert, brandishing tranquilizer guns from their belts.

Meowscarada continues running at full speed toward them like a bowling ball to its array of pin victims hopelessly waiting for the impact to come. Both officers lift their guns, fingers on the trigger, and they pull back simultaneously without a second thought.
