The show has come to an end. The magician on stage wills away her dazzling wand and bows. Applause roars. Everyone has been amazed. None can take away their eyes from the magician. All wish to see more, but today's show has concluded, and for now the spotlight must be cast toward a new great magician tomorrow.

"Thank you all for making my dream come true," Theia says, blinking away an ocean of tears. "I hope—I hope I've dazzled you, that you won't be able to forget me for weeks to come. And I hope..."

The crowd falls silent, each member patiently awaiting Theia's words, hanging on her every syllable. It's not an uncomfortable silence; it is soothing, a quaint feeling that Theia has been encapsulated by as she gazes out at every pair of eyeballs looking back in her direction. There are old people, young people, children, Pokémon. There are faces she's seen before and faces completely unfamiliar to her. But whether or not she recognizes them matters not. These faces—these people—all have lives to protect, loved ones to cherish and grow alongside, the joys and woes that come with living.

Theia's eyes pierce the crowd, swimming through the many faces, and then landing on you. Standing far back behind the foldable chairs, her trainer—her Master—the boy with a heart of gold, nerves of steel, eyes so sweet and a voice so calming.

"I hope you all make sure your loved ones know you love them," Theia speaks to the crowd but she's staring directly at you. A faint smile curves her lips. "Through everything, thick and thin, you'll cling onto what you hold dear for the rest of your lives. Life is brittle, fickle; you can't know when you'll see someone for the last time. We are all made of magic. Don't ever disappear without making sure you've left your friends and family satisfied. That is my parting message to you all. Thank you for bearing witness to my show."

Theia doesn't try to wipe her tears.

"Thank you," she says, "for allowing me to dazzle you."

Final Chapter
Curtain Call

...

As silk has turned to stone,
the spotlight dims, and curtains fall
I bid to you, farewell, my Love
beyond the curtain call

On your way back home, you can't help but wonder... now that Theia's gotten her magic show, is there anymore you can do for her? Do you have... time? The show went on for a long while. The sun is beginning to set. The once-clear blue sky is now orange and studded with puffy clouds.

If only the day could go on forever. If only there was no time limit. Tomorrow would never come, and Meowscarada would stop withering, and you would never lose her.
