Time for a shower. Can't sleep without feeling squeaky clean first. You finish your plate of leftover chicken alfredo, lick your lips clean — because that stuff was divine — and you head for the bathroom.

You don't tell Meowscarada what you're doing. She's still in the living room, staring at the television with blanked out eyes, flipping through channel after channel to no end.

Back in the day, you would announce everything you were doing to Meowscarada. Hey, I'm gonna change real quick. Hey, I'm gonna get a shower before we go. Hey, just let me take a nap before we head out.

Now, you don't say much. If you say you're gonna change and ask for privacy, Meowscarada will peep through a crack in the bedroom door and check out your body, blushing madly. If you say you're gonna shower, she'll either try following you in or end up sitting outside the shower door in wait for you to pop out with no clothes on.

If you say you're gonna nap...

Well, that one should technically be safe, right? If you were to say you're gonna take a quick rest on the couch, that just means Meowscarada or really any Pokémon might decide to join you.

Wrong.

That doesn't apply to your feline partner. Maybe for some other innocent trainer. But your Meowscarada is a pervert at heart, so when you say you're gonna nap, not only does she join you in bed; she deems that so long as you're either underneath her or lying close beside her, she can do to you whatever her lusty heart desires.

Sometimes she gives you love bites on your chest and neck. She'll bunch the front of your shirt up in her paws and take long whiffs of your scent. Other times, she'll reach her paw into your legs and start feeling around — only after you fall asleep of course. The one time you caught her feeling you up, she played innocent, ducking her head shamefully to make it seem as though she were utterly humiliated to be acting so unruly.

Point in case, you don't announce your routine to her anymore. You practically have to sneak into the shower now to ensure she can't follow you and stop you from locking the bathroom door.

Tiptoeing, you slip into the bathroom and do just that. The lock clicks and you're safe to get nice and clean. Instinctively you give the door a quick check, twisting it once to make sure it's really locked. Who knows what kind of tricks your own home might pull on you for Meowscarada's sake?

You promptly undress and get ready for a wash. Towel, check. Loofah, check. Your favorite-smelling body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, triple check.

You open the shower door and step in.

It's small, a little claustrophobic, and this is exactly why you refuse to let Meowscarada in with you. There's no room! If the two of you stood shoulder by shoulder in here, you'd be crushed against the wall. If she just stood behind you, she'd get zilch water. Despite all this, she still insists on trying to share the shower with you every chance she gets.

You sigh. You love her to death like any good trainer would but sharing a house with her can be exhausting. She steps over too many lines, crosses too many boundaries. The shower is just about the only place you can have a few moments of peace to think and cool off.

You squirt some soap into your loofah and prepare to set the bottle back on the ledge. You don't get the chance before a green arm reaches around and taps your forearm from behind. The hand makes a gesture like it's asking for the soap.

"Here you go," you say without turning around. The bottle of body wash is taken and the green arm retracts out of sight.

You lean forward and start lathering your body in soap. Refreshing. To be alone with your thoughts and the soothing allure of warm water. Oh, you just can't wait to sleep in after this. After this warm shower, you're gonna snuggle up into your equally warm blankets and—
