Ryan’s POV
“I don’t want to go Ahu,” I whined as I wanted to stay with her. “Stop being adamant laddu. This deal is crucial, and your presence at the meeting is essential.” She tried convincing. “It's around five hours of travel, one way. I should be spending a whole day on it, and I’m not willing to leave you after a series of incidents happened.” I explained. “Ryan, I’ll be fine. You know, I can handle myself. Just go and get the deal.” “Fine!”
When she goes ‘Ryan’, it means she is serious, and I understand that I can’t convince her (It’s beyond my limits). But I’m still worried, and some sort of intuition is stopping me. In the end, I can’t win her. I should go to the Shore Hotels, where my deal is held. I’ll take my chopper; this would compensate for the time.
A/N POV
*The next day*
Ryan took his car to the company and Ahalya took hers to the hospital. They were expecting their day to be usual, but least they knew that there was a conspiracy behind everything happening at present.
.
.
Some men were planning to capture Ahalya, from the hospital by that man’s order. “I need her alive to take down Adhir”, he ordered, smiling wickedly. They entered the hospital in disguise as patients, doctors and other staff. If they needed Ahalya, they would have just kidnapped her. But they decided to hijack the hospital to hide the mafia’s act.

Adhir decided to meet Ahalya in the hospital. He was waiting in her cabin along with Siddique as she was busy with surgery. It was noon, and they were waiting to have lunch with her. She was surprised as soon as she entered the cabin. “I was not expecting you guys, here.” She said going behind the partition screen. “Yeah, I was planning to have lunch with you,” Adhir said while standing up. “Is it, but you know what… you can’t plan alone.” She said with annoyance.“Oh common, Ms. Daredevil! I waited for a long time. And I’m starving.” He said in a smooth tone. “You didn’t have to, and did you also make Sid wait?” she asked, taking a glance at Siddique and straight looking into his eyes. “Don’t do this Ahu. *her eyes went wide* why are you always worried about him?” He asked stepping forward. “Mafia Boss…!! Really! Whining with jealousy. Grow up, kid!” she said, undoing her hair bun. He smiled, saying he was not jealous. (And we all know somewhere in the corner is burning up) .
“But let me tell you, I didn’t ask him to starve. He wanted to have a conversation with you.” She looked at Siddique with a questionable glance. He denied it by shaking his head. “But you guys can talk later, I’m really hungry. Please let’s eat first.” Adhir finished saying cutting down Sid and Ahalya’s glances. Ahalya smiled at his vulnerability and agreed to have lunch. She asked them to wait in the cafeteria as she couldn’t leave the hospital after convincing Adhir that they could have their expensive meal – the next time.
On the other side, men of the middle-aged man were slowly taking the hospital under their control. The unexpected gunshot made them jolt up in shock. Three of them looked at each other…… “What’s wrong!” Ahalya reacted in panic. They sighed and smirked exchanging glances, very well aware of the outcomes when both the panthers get provoked. “I’ll check.” Ahalya started to move towards the door. Adhir stopped her from opening the door. “That’s a bloody gun, Ahalya. Stay in until we get back.” Adhir warned and sneaked out with Siddique.
Having a nickname like daredevil – given by a Mafia boss…. She couldn’t just wait inside. She moved out slowly without fearing the gunfire sounds. She knew that she must protect the people in the hospital. She started to gather all the patients into a specific floor, which was just about to finish the renovation, with the help of staff.
.
.
Adhir found that those men who came to capture Ahalya were Vipers. As they were exposed they started to open fire. Adhir noticed Ahalya’s brave move to secure patients; he eventually started to help her, clearing people around and firing non-stop at whoever came in the way. The gun had a silencer, which was another aid to the situation in favour of patients and others. They were slowly moving everyone to the safer zone.
.
.
.
Siddique was on the other floor. Ahalya was taking a nurse to the safe zone. She secured the nurse in the room mid-way. Her attention shifted towards a man who aimed his gun from the end of the corridor. Adhir was busy shooting in his direction. She rushed in Adhir’s direction, grabbing the gun from his grip. Unlocking it seamlessly, she held the weapon with a steady left-hand grip and fired a fatal, point-blank shot at the man threatening Adhir.Sensing movement on their right side, she swiftly turned, using her right hand to move Adhir; stepping forward without hesitation, she gunned down the other two. She redirected her gaze to him, locking eyes with him. “Stay alert when you are on the field, Mr. Shetty.” She said, handing over the gun with an empty magazine. He caught in complete shock and surprise, struggled to comprehend the rapid turn of events.
He kept a magazine in her hand without taking the gun. She loaded the magazine in the gun. He fondly smiled at her, “So, you can handle guns! You can keep it.” She placed the gun in his hand. “Ahalya! Catch,” Siddique called her out and threw a gun in her direction, which she caught and kept behind, sliding her doctor coat. “You guys have a lot to explain!” Adhir exclaimed and followed them.

The scene was heating up and Ahalya was playing with her firing skills. She removed the coat in the process. She suddenly aimed it at a man’s chest who appeared from nowhere and was about to shoot, “Why are you always late?” she asked, lowering her hand.“Stop being rude, Ahalya. Are you ok?” Ryan asked hugging her. She just tapped on his shoulder, assuring him that she was fine. “Can anyone harm a tigress?” said Sid. “Here we meet again,” said Ryan shaking hands with Siddique. “Again?” asked Adhir lifting his eyebrows. “This is my boss. Mr. Adhir Shetty.” Siddique introduced him. “Ryan Randhawa.” They shook hands. “Ahalya, the assassin you are searching for, is in the hospital. He is leading these men. And to conclude it’s a mission of Vipers.” Siddique explained. She nodded to him.
“Are you planning to kill him?” Ryan asked. “Yes.” She replied. And moved from there. They left Adhir out of context. He was surely annoyed but wanted them to explain. She asked them to wait at the end of a corridor. She walked alone, standing in front of that assassin. She aimed her gun in her left hand and shot him with vengeful and rage eyes, tears flowing from them.
She sat kneeling. Adhir and Ryan wanted to take her into their embrace. Both of them knew that wasn’t the case. They waited until she wiped her tears after a few minutes. She walked back strongly with red fierce eyes.
