Ryan made his way into the hall running. "I thought you told me everything, Adhir." "I- I- I can explain." I shattered. "Explain." She raised her brows and smiled.

Her smile and tone paralysed me with fear. "Tell me. Why do you have my childhood to teenage pictures? And my family photos." Her authoritative voice forced me to answer her.

"Fine. My sister..... Arya was investigating your father's death. That is the reason she got killed." I gave the reason. She cried in disbelief. It is not the cry of pain. "You broke my trust...!" her voice cracked, and eventually, my heart.

"Anand is alive. You kept it to yourself. YOU USED ME!" She yelled, breaking into tears. I tried to hold her. "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME!!!" she pushed my hand away. Warning with her index.

"I want to meet him. Don't stop me." She grabbed the keys. "Ahalya!" I dragged her holding her arm. "Don't." "I said leave." She jerked me away. "ANAND IS VIKRAM!!!!!" I revealed what I was hiding from her.

That sentence halted her steps. She turned back to the thunderbolt. Her face is horror-struck. "What? What nonsense." In disbelief. "Anand is Vikram Anderson!" I repeated. "Why should I believe you?" She held my collar.

"Vikram killed Arya. She was investigating your father's death and Anand's missing case. What do you think she found out? Why do you think she got killed?" I held her before she collapsed on the floor.

"You knew it from the very beginning. And used me. YOU BROKE MY TRUST....!" She yanked my hands and walked away. Ryan followed her. I wanted to shout to the entire world, how much I love her and how precious she is to me. My heart broke into a million pieces.

"Anand is Vikram?" I looked at Sid and wiped my tears. "When did you find out?" "When I trespassed into their house from the main door, There was a huge photo frame hung on the wall. It was her in the picture. That's when I understood it was her pictures, Arya had." I took a pause.

"Anand's body was never found. Joseph handed some documents that I kept away from you." He hugged me consoling. "How much does Ryan know?" He broke the hug. "I told him everything. And you think, why is she upset with me and not him? It is because she believes I used her to reach Anderson. But him..., he never left her side even when in death." I sadly smiled.

I knew this was coming, but every time, the thought of Ahalya finding out terrified me; her sibling killed her father and tried to kill her, that brother who was a second father to her.

My heart shattered into a million pieces the moment she walked away. Even if she leaves this mansion, I promised Ryan to protect her. And to keep that, I'll go to any extent.

Ryan's POV

I held her before she crumbled. "I'm sorry, Ahu. I covered it so you don't break!" I hugged her like the hug I gave her when I took her in. She cried her heart out. A father figure killed her father, Christopher and tried to kill her. Her blood relation. If I could describe her condition, it would be worse than being devastated.

I made her sit in the car. I drove her back to my mansion because it was safer. I noticed a car following ours. I broke the speed limit and stepped on the accelerator. Ahu remained in a trance; she didn't notice or bother about what was happening. I had a view from the rearview and side mirrors.

Another car came into view from the rearview. The car's speed was trying to match our speed. It's Adhir's car. Which drove parallel to the car following us. Sid opened the window to shoot at the car. The car moved forward as if they were competing.

Adhir raced to overtake the car following us. He turned the steering to drift between both cars. Which made a skid and stopped the car following us. I released the accelerator after reaching the mansion.

I received a notification and a video message from Adhir. "Who is it, Ryan?" her rage, I know but it is not that. "Adhir? I know." She yanked my phone. Her eyes widened watching the message. "What is it, Ahu?" I took the phone from her.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!!!" I yelled. "Let's go." I pulled her. "Are you sure you can handle.? Better to stay in Ahu. Anan- Anderson will manipulate you, emotionally blackmail you." I asked to make sure she was ok.

"That mother fuc- killed everyone. I never felt Adhir's emotions were fake. He genuinely loved me. THAT MAN loved me unconditionally, although my blood relation killed Arya, brutally." I knew she would hit back soon.

The trance is to process the incident. "Promise me that you will handle, Anderson." She gave a nod. We went to the location Adhir sent.

Adhir's POV

We got Vikram Anderson. He was a lone fox. The moment I realized, if I let go of her now, I would lose her. I ran out to stop her. She left. But a car started to follow them. Who would dare to do that.?

We chased and turned my car in between, stopped him from reaching her. Sid pulled the driver out. "You think you can save her? From me." Vikram sarcastically provoked me. I was already frustrated with the thought of Ahalya leaving me.

Sid shot him in the leg. I dragged him towards the car and threw him inside. He laughed. Sid sat with him in the back, while I drove the car. Sid hit Vikram with the back of the gun to stop him laughing. He bled.

I pushed the brake as we arrived at the oldest place. "Where are we?" Sid enquired in confusion holding blood covered Vikram. "The place where everything began, everything he wrote. And now we are here to put everything to an end." He still seemed confused.

The factory where Mr. Godse died. The place where this cunning fox wrote the game of Power in Hunger. I handcuffed him to an iron, rusted chair. "You should have come for me earlier. Now it's too late." Vikram- Anand, Sarcastically mocked me.

My bar of patience was exceeded. I punched him hard, and the chair fell off. Sid pulled him back. I took out my mobile and sent a video message along with the location. Anand is a well-built man. It is not easy to knock him.

"She won't come. She is just a little mouse, who was under my dad's shadow." He continued to talk which I ignored.

How a person's ego and hunger for power lowers him...? It just blocks everything including common sense. The same happened with Anand, aka Vikram Anderson; he lost everything that he followed and got caught. How idiotic!
