16. The devil in disguise..!

Ahalya's POV

Sid came from behind to tell Adhir that the meeting was ready. "Sweetheart, I'm heading to the meeting, and be a good girl." He informed me and tapped my head. I sat there nodding to him. I can't believe he had such an effect on me.

I don't know what made him touch me like that. I could sense his love and lust in that single touch. Every time he looks at me his eyes soften. The rage and the seriousness in his eyes just disappear whenever he looks at me.

I sat there still until curiosity crept in. I need to know who he is and why he has to kill Christopher. I can't sit here waiting for Adhir. I slowly moved from there, away from the table and the dance floor and went to the room that said 'only for staff'. I changed my dress and my mask into a waitress one. I know this might sound foolish. But I just hope this works.

I had to turn off the cameras and microphones. I asked Veer to give me some other devices to fit them inside the meeting room.

I was supposed to give them to Adhir but his actions left me weak. I need to control my emotions and focus solely on my revenge. Because this is very important to me.

Adhir's POV

I turned off the cameras and microphones to escape checking and went into the room along with Sid. Entering into the room I turned on the devices. We had met Viktor before this, in another meeting which was held in Russia. That's when I understood that he never let anyone near him.

I shook hands with him and sat across from him, waiting for Viper's boss. "Mr. Shetty, I heard you made business with my drugs and also made profits. How about you share them with me." He asked as if I would be grateful for his offer.

A smirk formed. "Thanks, Mr. Sokolov. You are right. I earned enough profits. But guess what? I never did this business with kids, yet I earned more than the Vipers ever did." I said in a deep proud tone.

"I knew that young man! This is why I'm making this offer to share profits. Further, I'll bring more business. You are understanding this right?" He creepily smiled. I knew what it meant. "I'll be glad Mr. Sokolov." I fake smiled. All this time Sid stood silently.

"But how about we make this offer in the presence of Viper's boss." I know my assignment. "What's the hurry young man? He'll be here in a few minutes. Let me announce that I'll be breaking my alliance with him tonight." He said. I smirked at him. This is what I wanted. Someone knocked at our room. Sid slid the door.

A/N POV

A middle-aged dashing man who doesn't look his age. Well built, handsome any woman could just bed him up. Entered with an extremely strong aura. "Let me introduce, this is Mr. Vikram Anderson. Indian who got adopted. Don't confuse his name." Viktor introduced him to Adhir.

"Hello, Mr. Anderson. Nice to meet you." Adhir extended his hand for a shake. He shook hands but didn't speak. Someone else again knocked on the door.

Ahalya, in disguise, entered the room. She started to serve drinks and food. While trying to serve she implanted the devices. And stood up to leave but slipped and landed on Adhir. (Treat for him, isn't it).

She was about to move, but he held her tightly by holding her waist and spoke, "What so hurry, sweetheart?" He whispered. "Young man. If you want her, I'll arrange a suite room." Viktor said. "Sure! Mr. Sokolov." Adhir said in excitement.

Ahalya would never have thought of this side of him. Mr Godse was a one-woman man, but that doesn't mean every mafia man is. She got up and ran outside.

They smiled at her. "Unfortunately, I can't have that beauty. I'm here with my lady tonight. If she finds this, she will kill me, Mr. Sokolov." Adhir spoke about Ahalya. "Why not bring her in Mr. Shetty? She would be glad to meet us!" Said Vikram. He knew the lady Adhir came with was Ahalya. "Sure, Mr. Anderson. I'll bring her in." Adhir moved out.

After coming out of the room, Ahalya pulled out her microphone and informed Veer about the implanted devices.

All of a sudden, someone twisted and locked Ahalya's wrists from behind with a tight grip. She was about to attack the person, but he pulled her closer, saying, "Where are you running from me? Hmm." He swapped a wrist around her neck and left the other one.

He pulled her to his chest, her back sticking to him. He kept his chin on her shoulder, rubbing his cheek on hers. "I told you to be a good girl. Right?" her eyes went wide. She recognized him. It's Adhir who was being a pervert to tease her.

Instantly, he moved away, laughing. She instantly pulled him closer by his collar, speaking against his lips, "You don't tell me what to do!" And pushed him slightly.

"How did you recognize me?" she asked. He softly held her palm and turned it around. "Your bracelet." She smiled ear to ear, which got one on his face too. "You noticed?" She asked, looking at her bracelet.

"Sweetheart, I notice every inch of you. And common, you just landed on me; how can I not know when you were literally in my lap?" He said, pulling her mask thread and hair band from which her hair twisted down into a loose hairstyle. "Pervert!" She flicked her hair back.

"Get changed. I'm about to introduce you to them." He announced. "What? Why would you do that?" She asked in shock. A few minutes back, he asked her to conceal her identity, and now he wants to reveal it to the Viper's boss.

"He dared to touch my people once again. He wants to meet you for some reason. Let me show him that I'll be standing with you no matter what. And let me have my lady luck with me, I'm gonna have Viktor's alliance." He reasoned and tucked her hair strand.

She went in to change and came out with her outfit. He took her hand and removed her shining bracelet. She looked at him confused. "You think that Viper's boss is stupid. He is a devil in disguise." for which she nodded. And he took her inside as a gentleman.

"Gentlemen, let me introduce my lady. Ms Ahalya Randhawa." He introduced her. "Dr. Ahalya Randhawa." She corrected him. "Oh, a doc. Romance in treatment. Nice!" Viktor said and shook hands. Both smiled and sat.

Adhir pulled her close to him. He kept his hand behind her as a support. "This is Mr. Vikram Anderson. Viper's boss." Viktor introduced him. "Hello, Mr. Anderson." She greeted him. "Sir, I'll wait outside," Sid said and moved out.

"This is really annoying. Ryan, is everything clear to you? Voices and Visuals." Sid asked moving away from the meeting room. "Everything is fine. I'll inform you if needed. Stay alert. You know they both are not." Ryan said. "Fine, then."
