I didn't like people. Especially big crowds because I feel like I'm a burden in everyone's way. It pissed me off. I just feel like everyone is constantly mad at me. I should probably work on that. I just didn't want to be weird about things, you know? I tried to remain positive considering my new lifestyle but, not everything works out the way we want it to.

I then felt someone's finger slide in between my arm and my hand. AJ's hand. He gently took it in his, caressing the back. His eyes looked at me and said 'It's okay.' Without saying a single fucking word. I was the luckiest girl in the world and didn't deserve this treatment from him.

I continued walking before we were at a standstill in line. There were a lot of people I didn't want to be in the way of. I wanted to hide. So, I wrapped my arm around his waist and hid my face in his chest. He just held me close. There were just too many people and I hated being out.

We then had to move and go to our seats. There, we took a seat. I then watched and looked around. "Hey I'm going to go get food, do you guys want anything?" Tiegen said. I noticed the bleachers were beginning to get filled and get filled quickly. I just waited patiently for anyone to say anything.

"I'll go with you," I said and stood up. "You sure?" AJ asked. I nodded.

"Okay let's go."

We then head upstairs and I go to the concession stand with Tiegen. I play with the hem of my shirt. "You good?" Tiegen asked. I nodded. "Yeah, I just don't like social settings. I feel like everyone is constantly judging me." I shrug. Even the strongest soldiers had their breaking points and apparently, crowds were mine. It never used to be this way so, why now?

"It's okay, I get it. I feel that way too but I know better. Besides, they're not judging you. They're silently complimenting you because making eye contact with you is absolutely dangerous and playing it safe. Guys want to be with you, girls want to be with you. You're hot. Own it." I smile softly. "Thanks. I needed that."

"Of course. Now what would you like?" I look at the menu. "I want a pretzel and I'll get AJ gummy bears and Sprite. He isn't big on sports either. We just wanted to get out." She laughed. "I felt that." We then placed the order and I got one of those side bowls that were small.

This was because AJ was not a fan of the orange and lemon ones. However, those were my favorite. So, I always ate them for him.

"Also Mia, is Kylo single by chance?" She asked me licking her lips. I looked up at her and smirked. "Don't tell me you have a crush on him now." She would then laugh. "Then I'd be lying. He's also extremely godly built and yeah so, is he?" I laughed. "Yeah he is but that's because he's a sociopath." I laugh. "But I can give you his number." I offered. She smiled. "I'll take it. At least then I know he would notice me."

"I don't think you want that." I laugh.

We then smile and head back. The game went by pretty fast but I wasn't paying attention and just talking to AJ the entire time, eating the pretzel and gummy bears. We cheered when needed but that wasn't often at all.

Once it was over, we all made our way back upstairs. "When do you want to come over again, Mia?" Skylar asked. "I'm throwing a get-together if you want to come by. AJ can come too if he wants."

"It's up to you. Just text me and let me know." She nodded. "Okay well, it's next weekend at noon till we feel like ending it so, come by if you want." I smile. "Okay, I'll see you later." We all said our goodbyes. Then when we got into the parking lot, I walked with AJ.

"These shoes hurt my fucking feet." I steady myself on his shoulder as I go to take them off. I then felt him pick me up bridal style and I laugh. "What are you doing?"

"You are too pretty for that." He then lowered me into the car and kissed me. I smiled and kissed back. Once he was on his side, we drove home.
