Chapter Fifty

Mia

    I was sitting in my bedroom just reading a book, in AJ's shirt. I honestly can't remember where I got it. It was in my laundry so, my bad. I just can't find it in me to take it off though. It was around six thirty and I had just gotten out of the shower.

    I heard talking so then I decided to go downstairs after slipping on a pair of my Nike pros and throwing my hair up into a knot. The talking continued as I stepped down the stairs. I smile when I see everybody at the table. I didn't see Jaeden though. Thank fuck.

    "Hey, krasivaya." Ace said as he would then just looked back down at his phone.

    Miles looked at me and I would wait patiently as I waved to them. I then sat next to AJ. "What are you guys watching?" I asked. "Also, why the fuck have you guys been over so much recently."

    Tony looked at me. "Did you not tell her...?"

    "In all fairness, we all just found out tonight. Well, now that you mentioned it, Rose is pregnant and Jaeden isn't speaking to her because of it." I gasp. "What the fuck?"

    "Yeah... He requested his son be named after you and she lost her shit and left so now, we're trying to find her. Care to help?" I looked at him and shook my head. "Not really, no."

    "You can stay back and watch a movie with me if you choose?" AJ offered. He was watching The Matrix. "I'm sticking with AJ."

    "Suit yourself. He likes to quote shit and we're heading out now."

    "Alright, see ya," I said as I just went and sat on the other side of the couch and waited for everyone to leave. Ace then asked, "How long till one of them makes a move? Jesus the fucking tension." Ace was in a mood. The door shut and it was just us in the house. "You wanna sit by me?"

    "I didn't want to invade your space." He laughed. "It's okay, Mia. You can always sit by me." I smile before walking over and sitting next to him. I then watched the movie with him and we would sit next to each other. No contact. Just enjoying the quality time we offered to one another. It was nice and quiet. You just had to be there.

    Then he mumbled with the TV, "Did she vanish from the window?" I looked over at him. "No the window vanished from the house." I then smile and laugh. "I've never watched this movie so, I'm going to pretend what you mean by that." I then went back to watching it with him. I held the pillow to my chest and would wait. "What if I told you everything was a lie." I then turned and looked over at him smiling. He was so adorable.

    I loved him for his personality and everything else that fell between. His tattoos were cool but not as cool as him. We then lock eyes and he smiles. I smile back and let it fade.

    We just stared at one another for a moment before I leaned in and gently cupped his face in my hands. "May I?" He nods and presses our lips together. I kiss him back softly before I run my fingers into his hair. The chemistry was more present and not one-sided like how it was with Jaeden. He smiled into the kiss and I pulled away from him. "I love you too."

    I didn't feel forced to say those forbidden words. I didn't feel any regret. I just felt pure joy. I felt happiness again. I wasn't who I was in September. I was someone new. Did I change that much? Of course. There was barely enough time for that and I was still working on it but I was happy and was willing to do anything for him. For me because I deserve it. I noticed I began slowly stripping off my hoodies and oversized clothing and wearing flared jeans and claw clips. Hoops. Doing my nails on my accord and a little bit of mascara. I was healing. It would most definitely take some time from the damage and pain of my entire life but, I don't want to die anymore.

I want a future.

I continued kissing him till I was on his lap. He pulled away though. "We don't have that much time and I want to enjoy everything with you. Every  moment." I smile and nod before slowly getting off.

His hands stopped me though at my waist and brought me back down onto his lap, gently. "Doesn't mean you need to leave." I smile and kiss his lips one more time. "AJ... I've had hella feelings for you, okay? Please just don't hurt me. I want to give you my entire heart. I want you to see all of me including the bad parts. I want to be yours and I want you to be mine." He pushes a strand of hair out of my face. "I have been yours since the day you've met me and vice versa."

"But I can't promise you a good future. I don't want you to settle on me." I then smile and look down at him. "I get it and if you meet some other nice, lovely lady who does it better than you please just tell me. I'm not ready to sleep with you quite yet until I know for certain you will stay with me."

"Trust me, don't even think about me cheating or lying. I couldn't do that. I tell you everything." I chuckle. "Okay just tell me and communicate is all I ask."

He smiles softly and I smile, looking at him. I then hugged him and hid my face in his neck while he caressed my back. We watched the movie for the next two hours and it was pretty good. I was definitely confused though. When it ended, there was a knock at the door. "Did you order food or something?" I asked looking up at him. "No." I then got up.

"Weird. I'll go see who it is." I then got up and let the shirt fall to my knees. Fuck you to whoever made me short. Opening up the door was a girl with a baby in hand and a baby bag in the other. Backpack on back. "Hi?" I ask. "Hi." She sized me up and down. "I'm sorry I think you are at the wrong house. Do you need something?"

"Look, can you do me a favor and tell Ace to come down?" She said, obviously fiery just like her goddamn hair. Those gingers had no souls. This one included. "I'm sorry he isn't here right now."

"Okay,  how about Kylo?" I looked at her. "With Ace. It's just me and my boyfriend." She laughed. "Is Tony fucking you that good to the point he has you thinking he wants a label?" I squint my eyes and give her a look of disappointment. "Nope try again."

"How about Miles?" Her baby whined. "Shut up, Ella."

I shook my head and laughed. "No. Who the fuck even are you?"

"Well, it can't be AJ because he's still in love with me. Who can I talk to whose useful to me?"

I gape. What the fuck did she just say?

"My name is-"

"Lindsay." My boyfriend straightened his posture and I looked between the two. "What the actual fuck?"

"Hi baby." She winked at him.

He glared. "Do not."
