📍JULIANNA' S PIZZA—☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎❀☁︎︎—
BEING EARLY TO THE RESTAURANT was something Semaji never did willingly. Unless he had something to prove, and this time he did.
Showing up for the one person that truly knew him before he went and changed is all that mattered before they worked on the song together. He wanted good vibes all around and he was trying his hardest to get there.
Once he got the message from Dovani, asking to meet up at Julianna's, he felt like life was getting back on track. But, he wasn't sure if she just felt bad for yelling at him that day and going ghost, leaving nowhere to reach her, even for the feature.
Arriving early wasn't his specialty but he'd do it if it meant she'd talk to him again.
Tapping away on his phone, waiting in a booth inside the restaurant, the bells on the door chimed as the door opened. Notifying, that someone had entered. He looked up to be met by the stunning brownskin woman dressed in a bleached tan and orange top that read 'Beverly Hills', matched with light blue ripped jeans, a white bag and black thigh high boots.
She spotted him in a booth, making her way over there. He raised from his seat and allowed her to get in the booth first before he sat back down.
"Thank you." She sa in the booth, removing the cross body bag from around her and sat it beside her.
"You're welcome." He took a glance at the menu but back at her in a short period of time.
"I've never been here. The pizza looks pretty good though." She commented as she scanned the menu of the different pizza choices.
"How'd you know about it if you've never been?" He questioned.
"Miara told me this is where Steven took her recently and she really liked it." He nodded.
Of course.
"Why haven't you moved out of New York? I remember you saying if you ever made it big in your dream career, you were getting out of here." She took a sip of her water, releasing a sigh.
"I wasn't ready to flee from the nest just yet. College was a time away from home but I wasn't ready to leave the city just yet." She answered. Tapping her nails on the table.
"What about you? What happened to moving to Texas?" He was a little taken back that she remembered that he wanted to move to Texas.
"You remembered."
She laughed a little. "I mean yeah. I never forgot."
"Well, I went out there and figured it wasn't for me. That heat is no joke and it wasn't like the city back home." She nods.
"I get it. One day, you're gonna have to let go. Can't let New York be your tombstone. Let it be your.." She thought. "Stepping stone." She finished the thought. Dovani always had a way with words. Even though he obviously knew that she got that line from P-Valley.
