SEMAJI CARVER.
OMNISCIENT
HARLEM, NY.
[SAME NIGHT, SEPETEMER 2ND]
THE DAY WAS QUIET. Semaji was just focusing on his single for now until Dovani was off her tour for the week and she'd ask to work. He ain't want to bother her, knowing she still ain't come around after that shitty "apology" Semaji tried.
His phone rang and vibrated on the table. Removing the blunt from between his lips, looking at the caller ID.
Da STEV💚
incoming facetime...
He slides the answer button over, connecting the call. The first thing he sees is the ceiling of Steven's crib. He smacks his teeth.
"Yo. Why am I looking at yo' dusty ass ceiling, gang?"
"Oh, my fault Sem," Steven picked up his phone, letting the smoke out of his mouth.
"But, you at the studio?"
Semaji shook his head, "Nah. At the crib, wassup?"
"Come chill ova' here. Haven't seen yo ass in awhile." Steven just wanted a reason to see his bestfriend, even if they just saw each other a couple days ago. He wasn't gon admit it, but he missed his right hand nigga.
"Aight. I'll be over in 15. Don't smoke up all the weed, nie." Steven chuckled, putting the blunt out in the ashtray.
"Whatever nigga. Get ova here." Was the last thing Steven said before the call disconnected.
Getting his keys, phone and coat before turning off all the lights and heading out the house, walking towards the elevator and press the down button.

Knocking on the door of the apartment, he waited on the door to open. It took a little minute, he had guessed that Steven stepped out for a minute, forgetting that he was on the way. He turned around, heading towards the elevator before the door shot open.
"Who banging on my damn door like they the police?" Miara opened the door in her matching silk pajama set, her hair reaching all the way down to her waist.
She gasped, not believing her eyes. She hasn't seen Semaji in about five months, since she's been so swamped with work, she's only had time to be at the salon, home and out with her girls occasionally. Owning and running a salon wasn't as easy as they made it seem.
"Sem???" She questioned as he flashed her a smile before making his way back to the door.
She laughed as she wrapped his arms around her, giving a warm embrace that hasn't been there in months. Semaji was like a brother to Miara. Not seeing him or hearing from him in months, had her feeling some type of way but she knew and hoped he ain't forget about her.
"We missed yo' ass around here." She admitted. By "we" she meant her and Envee.
"My fault, I've been busy."
"Mhm. I be seeing yo' ass on TV doing them interviews and shit. You doin' good for yourself, Sem. I'm proud of you." She smiled as pregnant girl came up behind her, yawing and rubbing her eyes.
