DOVANI CHANCE.
OMNISCIENT
BROOKLYN, NY.

TWO WEEKS HAD PASSED since the incident in the chauffeur car and Dovani had yet reach out to Semaji. No call, no text, not even a like on his recent post. He hasn't reached out to her either. But, there was no doubt in her mind that she missed him. His laugh, smile, just his presence.

In a quick and small amount of time, he had become the sunlight to her rainy day again. Unlike with Quincy, she felt comfortable. She felt like she didn't have to put on a front for the internet and shield him from who she really is.

Not that she honestly could, he saw her get her first period. It wasn't much to hide.

While still being an artist, he had time for her. Cancelled studio sessions, everything. Just to see and be with her.

"Dovani!"

She jumped as Envee called her name. "Huh?"

"You over there daydreaming?"

Steven, Miara and Envee were going up to her penthouse to see if Quincy was there, she just needed the papers of her lease to get him put out. This was their first home together and she was ready for it to be just hers again. She was honestly tired of crashing on Miara and Steven's couch because she rather reject her bestfriend than tell him how she actually felt.

She was ready for her apartment to be just for her and her sister. No other distractions.

"Sorry. My mind wandered." Dovani apologized as she pulled the keys from her pocket and walking up to the door. She blew a breath as it has been a full two months since she had been back here and all the memories were haunting her mind once again.

Turning the key, the door easily clicked open. Dovani pushed the door open, being met with the apartment looking the same. The broken picture frames still on the ground as they have not been moved. Everything looked to be in place.

Miara had a small apartment in the city that Dovani could stay until she figured out all of the legal issues that came with the apartment. So they were there to pack up some things of hers and MacKenna's as well.

"Damn, L-Lori. I told you just cause I gave you a key don't mean you can come in my crib whenever," Quincy hiccuped, coming from around the corner. Dovani stood still and couldn't move.

She knew he probably was still staying here but she didn't think it was actually true, but knowing hm she shouldn't have put it past him.

"D-D?" He hiccuped as he opened his drunken eyes, seeing all of us standing at the doorway.

Instead of letting her fear radiate off of her, she decided to stand her ground.

"I'm here for my stuff." She simply said, walking more into the apartment, pushing all her personal issues aside.

"D, baby, I've been tryna reach you. I wanted to-"

"I don't want to hear what you have to say to me, Quincy. But, you are going to fuckin' listen to me this time." She stopped in her tracks and walked closer to her ex boyfriend who had alcohol basically radiating off of him.
