Myrcella and Jaime talk and she kind of drops a bomb Jaime wasn't expecting. Sansa finds out about Serena's pregnancy. I hope you guys like it. 🥰
Throughout her life, Myrcella had learned to be quiet and not to speak too much. It was never good to bring attention to herself, sometimes it would make Joffrey angry and he would slap her or pull her hair. Sometimes her mother complained of an aching head, after drinking a lot of wine and would yell at her to be quiet. Even after the moons she had spent in the tower of the hand where things were very different, she was still quiet. She had known Serena was with child, she had heard the woman speaking to her grandsire about it. None of them had heard her enter or leave their chambers. She had been happy about the babe, but knew it was a secret so she had not told anyone, not even Sansa who was her best and only friend.
When her uncle Jaime had run into her grandsire's solar she had known what he was speaking about. Myrcella had known her mother would not take it well, her mother never took it well when other women took attention away from her. She had never thought her mother would do anything to harm an unborn child. Her mother had managed to disappoint her again.
"Myrcella?" She stopped when her uncle Jaime stepped in front of her, a frown on his face. "Where is your guard?"
"He is standing at the end of the hall." She had wanted to be alone and sometimes it was hard when there was always someone following after her. "Are you allowed back into the tower now that you have apologized to Serena?"
Jaime frowned and his cheeks reddened. "How do you know about that?"
"I heard grandsire and Serena speaking about it a few times." She shrugged, even though she knew ears dropping was not polite, but it was not like she did it on purpose. "They were arguing about you."
"Yes, Serena had every right to be angry." Her uncle shook his head. "I did not behave very honorably. I would not have been surprised if she had told my father to keep me away."
"No, that is not why they were arguing." Her uncle gave her a curious look. "Grandsire was very angry and she was trying to get him to speak to you. She told him that banning you from the tower of the hand was unnecessary and a bit cruel."
She saw the surprise in her uncle's face and smiled. She knew he had not liked Serena, but she had also seen it was not really dislike for the woman that made him angry, he was jealous of her. He was jealous of the relationship Serena had with his father and the way the great lion treated her.
"I cannot believe she did not want me kicked out of Kings Landing."
"She would not do that, Serena cares about us." Myrcella smiled at her uncle. "She knows you are our father, I am sure she knew Tommen and I would miss you."
Her uncle tensed and the smile had frozen in his face, she saw something akin to horror in his eyes as he kneeled in front of her. "Where did you hear that Myrcella?"
"My mother talks a lot when she is in her cups." His eyes were horrified as she continued to speak. "I have also heard people speaking about it. Like I said before, I am very quiet, and sometimes people do not notice I am there."
"Myrcella you cannot repeat those words, ever, to anyone." She could tell he was upset as his hands wrapped around her shoulders, but he was not hurting her. "Do you understand me?"
"Yes," She knew that what her uncle and mother had done was a slight against the gods. They were not Targaryens, after all. "Do not worry, I am aware of the reason people cannot know and I would never say anything. Tommen does not know."
