Chapter 28

Jon and Sansa talk for a bit. Tywin explains to Serena why he reacted the way he did. I hope you guys like it 🥰

"Just make sure that all the food is ready to be sent to the kitchens in time." The maester nodded. "I also want to make sure that the food is being given the way I have said. I do not want us to run out too soon, this winter is hard enough already."

"Of course, princess." The maester gave her an apologetic look. "Have you any idea when your mother will be allowed to take control of Winterfell again?"

"When the king decides," Sansa answered, making sure that her voice was firm, but not to sound rude. "That will be all for today."

The man bowed before walking away and Sansa waited until he had left to let out a sigh. Since her mother had been locked in her chambers for the past moon Robb had placed her in charge of Winterfell's day-to-day running. Sansa was thankful for the distraction, at least this way she did not spend all her day thinking about Jon. She was also happy that Jon, just like her brother had been busy with the war preparations. Jon had tried to talk to her a few times, but Sansa had been able to avoid him for the most part. The other times they were forced to speak were mostly when Robb and her other siblings were around. Arya, Rickon, and Robb still did not know about Jon and Sansa had no plans to tell them. As far as she was concerned, she had told Jon and he would talk to the rest of their family when he was ready.

"You can be very hard to find." Sansa tensed when Jon's voice reached her ears and she cursed the fact that she had told the maester he could leave. "I know you can hear me, I am only two feet away from you."

"I did not know you were looking for me." She turned to look at him and gave him a polite smile. "Is there something you need?"

"I need you to talk to me."

"I am talking to you." She tried to move around him. "But I am very busy, so if you do not need anything I am going to leave and tend to my duties."

"I do not think so." He moved quickly, blocking her exit. "I have been trying to talk to you for days, I am not letting you leave until you speak to me."

"Jon, there is nothing for us to talk about." She also did not want to be so close to him if she could help it. "I have told you I will not say anything about what happened between you and Daenerys. I have not said anything up until now and I will not say anything either."

"That is not what I want to talk to you about." He took a step closer and she became even more tense. "You kissed me."

"I know and I am sorry about that." She could not help but flush. "It was a mistake and I should not have done it."

"A mistake?" He frowned. "It did not seem like a mistake to me."

"Jon, do not make this any harder than it was to be." She took a deep breath, hating that it had come to this. She should have never kissed him. "Just pretend that I never kissed you, forget about what happened."

"I cannot forget." He walked closer, his body crowding hers. He cupped the side of her face with one hand and the look he was giving her was a bit confusing. He ran his thumb over her bottom lip. "There is something I need to know."

Jon's lips were on hers before she could ask him what he meant. Her mouth became pliant as he took control of the kiss. He teased her lips until she opened for him, his tongue explored the inside of her mouth, coxing her tongue to follow his. He sucked her tongue into his mouth, making her moan and one of her hands cupped the back of his head. He crushed her body to his, kissing her deeper until she whimpered and felt like her head was spinning. Sansa had only kissed Joffrey, it had been one time and it had barely been a kiss. This was not just a kiss, it felt like he wanted to consume her.
