Just a bit of how Tywin is thinking and a bit of smut. I hope you guys like it. 🥰
5 days later.
Tywin sighed as he listened to the people complain about everything, not that he blamed them, since Joffrey took over, the kingdom had been in a decline. Not that it had been much better under Robert's rule, the man was a horrible king, more worried about drinking and whoring than ruling the kingdom he had fought for. While Joffrey was a cruel and petulant king. His daughter had not helped her son by cuddling him the way she had and Tywin wished Robert had paid more attention to his children instead of pretending they did not exist. People were starving on the streets and Tywin was concerned there would be another revolt if he did not find a way to end this war soon. The crown's coffers could not support a war at this time and Tywin was not going to support his daughter and incompetent grandson for the rest of their lives.
By the time the petitions were over, there was a crick on his neck and he wanted to burn the infernal throne he was sitting on. He hated the uncomfortable chair and how most people believed their backside needed to be sitting on it to have power. He had seen it in Joffrey, who believed he was powerful and could do as he pleased without regard to anyone because of the simple fact he sat on the uncomfortable chair. Tywin had attempted to teach his grandson that it did not matter if he was king, people would kill him in a heartbeat if they were able. There was also the fact that a king who had no control over himself had no hope of controlling a kingdom.
Tywin ran a hand over the back of his neck as he walked down the steps leading to the throne. He stopped in the middle of the room when he saw Addam Marbrand walking towards him. The man gave a small bow and looked around the room to make sure they were alone.
"Lord Kevan made it to his destination without any issues." Tywin nodded, knowing that he had been right in trusting Addam, the man was loyal to him. "He said he would write as soon as he has news."
"Perfect. You may leave."
No one, except for himself, a few of his most trusted knights, and his wife knew where Kevan was. Tywin knew Joffrey would do anything in his power to make sure there was no peace if he were to discover what Tywin was attempting to do. The boy did not care about all the strife the war was causing. Sometimes Tywin believed he should have let Stannis kill the stupid child.
Tywin started walking towards the tower of the hand, he needed to speak to Serena. He had been hiding from his wife since their wedding night, not that he would ever admit it. The morning after the wedding, after he had gone to her to tell her about his plans, he had noticed that he wanted her more than before, having her once had not been enough. He did not want the woman to have any power over him, so he stayed away from her. They still had supper together every day, but there were others there, they were never alone. It was almost supper time, but he wanted to speak to her before the others arrived.
