Sansa and Jaime talk a bit after he helps her. Tywin makes some things clear to his son. I hope you guys like it. 🥰

1 month later.

Sansa walked through the halls and smiled as she looked down at the book she had been able to find in the library. Since finding out that Myrcella would be marrying Robb when she came of age, the princess had asked Sansa to tell her stories about the North and Winterfell. Sansa had told her about some of the stories she remembered, but she had been ashamed to admit that she did not know that many. When Sansa was a small girl she had fantasized about leaving Winterfell and going south. She had never paid much attention to the northern stories, she had been more interested in stories about the South.

Even if she did not remember a lot of the stories, she had promised Myrcella she would try and find a book about the North. It had taken Sansa a few days, but she finally found a book about northern stories and she could not wait to show it to Myrcella. She was almost at the tower of the hand when one of the knights of the Kingsguard blocked her path. Sansa paled when she realized it was Boros Blount standing in front of her. The man gave her a sneer which made her belly jump and for a moment she was sure she would faint. A hand pulled her back while someone stepped in front of her. Her breathing evened out when she remembered she had guards with her. Her two red cloaks would not allow anyone to hurt her.

"The queen wishes to speak to the girl," Boros said while glaring at the knight standing between him and Sansa. "It was an order."

"We only receive orders from Lord Tywin." One of the red cloaks took a step forward. "Lady Sansa is to be taken to the tower of the hand."

"The queen must be obeyed." Boros also took a step forward. "You are no one to disobey our queen."

The knight standing in front of Sansa put his hand on his sword, while the other one moved Sansa back a few steps. She should have known better than to leave the tower for so long, but since Joffrey had been ill she had felt safer leaving and walking around the Red Keep. The king had not left his chambers in a fortnight and no one had bothered her since then. Apparently, her solitude was over and she was afraid that the two men in front of her would kill each other.

"What is happening here?" The voice made all three men look to the right and Sansa followed suit. Ser Jaime stood there glaring at Boros. "What do you think you are doing?"

"I am here to take the girl to the queen." Boros turned his glare towards her and Sansa took another step back. "The queen has ordered it."

Jaime looked at her for a few seconds before moving closer to Boros. "My father had ordered Lady Sansa be taken to the tower of the hand immediately and that is what will be done."

"You can.." Jaime moved so quickly that Sansa was not sure what had happened, but he stopped the man mid-sentence.

"If you want to insist I can stab you and be done with it." The threat was made almost as a jest, but Sansa saw Boros swallow. "Now, move out of the way and tell my sister that if she wishes to speak to Lady Sansa she can visit her here."

The man looked at Jaime for a moment before swallowing once more and leaving. Sansa did not let out the breath she had been holding until Boros was out of sight. Once the man was gone the two red cloaks stepped aside as Jaime approached her.

"Are you well?" He gave her a concerned look.

"Yes," Sansa cleared her throat and made sure to speak a bit loudly. "Thank you."

"I will accompany you the rest of the way." He offered her his arm and Sansa took it after a few moments. "I need to speak to my father anyway."

"I believe he is in a meeting with Tyrion. They have been meeting a lot since the king's wedding to Lady Margaery had to be postponed." Sansa shook her head and gave Jaime an amused look. "Unless my sister forced him to stop for a moment."
