Sorry, the update was so late. Work was extremely busy tonight.

We get a glimpse of what happened in Dragonstone. Serena has a talk with Tywin about his worrying and temper. I hope you guys like it 🥰

Jaime stared at the woman and was not ashamed to admit he was surprised. Everything he heard about her, all her titles, and the way she carried herself made him think she would have been taller. Instead, she looked like a doll, she was very short, and her silver hair fell down her back in waves, framing her face. She had large purple eyes and delicate features. She looked like someone who should be wrapped up and locked away to keep her safe. The moment Jaime saw Daenerys Targaryen he could not help but remember her mother, the queen he had failed in so many ways. He should have killed the mad king much sooner, hurt him the same way he had hurt his wife.

Jaime had stayed on the ship while Robb and Jon spoke to the woman and showed her the white walker they brought with them. She had allowed them to mine the dragon glass needed and had pledged her armies to them. Once a truce had been called, Robb Stark had sent for him. Jaime could tell this was not an easy truce and Jon had told him that the dragon queen was upset because Robb refused to bend the knee and give up his title as king. While the queen was not happy about it she had accepted that defeating the dead was more important. The moment Daenerys saw him the truce almost came to an end.

"Why would you bring him here?" The small woman glared at Robb Stark. "Have you brought him so I can kill him?'

"No, Queen Daenerys. We need Jaime Lannister for the war to come." Jaime could tell that the queen was about to protest, but Robb kept talking. "I understand why you hate him, after everything he has done. I do not like him either. He can be an ass, he is condescending, annoying, does not care about other people's feelings, always thinks that he is right." Robb stopped for a moment and frowned. "What was I talking about?"

"You were explaining why we need Jaime," Jon answered with a snort.

"Right." Robb cleared his throat. "But he is also the best knight and commander in the seven kingdoms."

"He killed my father." Daenerys did not seem to care about any of Robb's reasons. "The king he was sworn to protect."

"If you had met your father, you would not be defending him." Jaime would not apologize for killing that man, as far as he was concerned, he should have done it sooner. "Believe me, Your Grace, I did everyone a favor by killing him, especially your mother."

Daenerys looked furious and he was lucky that her dragon was not present at that moment or she would have burned him alive. Jon and Robb were looking at him like they wanted to throw him out of the window. Jaime just stood there and stared at the dragon queen.

"Queen Daenerys." Jon gave the queen an apologetic look. "While we all have issues with each other, right now none of that matters, we have an extremely difficult war to fight and we have to be united if we want to make it out alive."

The dragon queen just glared at Jaime for a few minutes before finally letting out a sigh and nodding her head. Jaime knew this would not be the end of it and as soon as they finished talking about war plans, the queen would be at his throat again.
